faodail
(n.) A lucky find.

__________________________

I had heard about the treasures
That people found at the bottom of the sea;
I heard about explorers who found
New lands on old roads.

Have we all not read about stories
Of brave men who slayed mighty dragons,
To go beyond the castle walls
And find their distressed damsel?

The legends of the ancestors
Who failed not to find peace
In times of war, when all else was lost,
They found their lucky seed.

Have we all not heard the songs
That praise the power above:
For he helped us find a tomorrow
In a place where there was no now.

But out of all the things and wonders
That people have come to live by
I know I'm greatly blessed now,
For it is you who are my lucky find.
