Knowing that your words still ring inside my head,
The laughter, joy and tears I shed
Are wounds still raw, like they just bled?
Are you happy now?
When you see me cry;
When you know that you're not the reason behind my smile,
Seeing me like a wrecked mess,
Knowing it was you inside my head?
Are you happy now?
When you see your plan work,
When you see me so distraught
With all my hope shattered?
Are you, so very happy right now?
Knowing that you lost me:
Ever since the very moment you told me you'd always love me.
Are you happy now?
Seeing how tomorrow,
I won't be the same girl that you played,
And though I once did, I can promise myself,
I'll never love you like I once did somehow.
