Amber Glow, by fallen_tear
Beneath the amber glow,
The moon won't grow,
Flew away with the crow,
As rivers and stream flow,
Though the stars are bright,
We pray, but we're out of sight,
This is our world's plight.
~
Beneath the amber glow,
The earth dies slow,
Under storms flying low,
Ground crumbling as it woes,
Sentry-old trees lost the fight,
Breathless from the endless night,
Even the gods can be smite.
~
Beneath the amber glow,
The dwindling spark flows,
While heaven in it's death throes
The end is ours to stow,
No feathered angel in tow,
Darkness continues to snow,
Our immortal, lifeless foe.
