Chapter 11

----Shino's P.O.V.----

I woke up and I looked at the clock beside the bed to see what time it was, the clock read "12:32pm", I looked next to me to see that Kazuto was gone, I got up and put on some shorts and I went into the living room but didn't see Kazuto in there so I checked the kitchen and saw Kazuto and Sugu at the table eating
"Oh hey Shino, I made French toast, do you want any?" He smiled, "yes please" I smiled, he got up and went over by the stove and put two pieces of French toast on a plate and set it on the table in front of me, "thank you, Kazuto, your so nice" I smiled, "well I try to be as nice as I can, especially to my girlfriend haha", I felt myself blushing, "you guys haven't been on ALO in a week or so, do you wanna get on today? Maybe go on a quest or two?" Sugu asked, "sure, sounds fun" I said, "yea" Kazuto smiled, "alright, awesome" Sugu smiled

After the three of us got done eating breakfast we all grabbed our Amusphere and got on ALO, we met up at now mine and Kazuto's cabin since Asuna said it was now mine and his since she would be gone, "what quest should we do? There are two good ones with rare items, one is "The Dark of The Shadows" and the other is "The Light of Tomorrow"" Sugu asked, "I say we do "The Dark of The Shadows" it sounds more of a challenge" Kazuto said raising he hand and clenching his fist, "I agree" I said, "alright then, let's go!" Sugu yelled with excitement
Once we got where the marker lead us to there was a cave and around the cave all the plants were dead, we went inside the cave where there was just one room, out if nowhere a group of undead soldiers spawned, we were out numbered but we were still able to win without a sweat, once we defeated the undead soldiers we heard a weird, creepy voice (imagine the jokers voice in Batman: arkham knight and that's the voice they heard)
The voice said "Do not fear the darkness......fear The shadow"
"Who's there!?" Kazuto shouted
"Oooooo...I have visitors....do not worry, do not fear the darkness, fear the shadow" the creepy voice said once again, "what's your name!?" I shouted loudly, "hmmm...my name...let's seeee... My name is Nyx, do you fear Nyx?" The creepy voice asked
"How are we supposed to fear you if we don't even know what you look like?" Sugu shouted, "you should fear Nyx" it laughed, "why should we!?" Kazuto yelled, "because..." It paused "Nyx is the Shadow" it laughed evily, out of nowhere the darkness surrounding us came to life, there were hundreds of eyes opening and four mouths opened, "ahhhh!" Sugu screamed, "fear....I NEED MORE, MORE FEAR! MORE! MORE!" Nyx yelled

----Kazuto's P.O.V.----

"It feeds on fear! Don't be scared, we'll kill this thing!" I shouted, "kill...me? Yes, try, try to kill me, I want it, do it!" Nyx shouted, the mouths lunged at us but we easily doged them, parts of the shadow crept towards us and it wrapped around our legs and we weren't able to move, out of nowhere a bolt of the shadow flew out and Pierced my arm, "damn" I mumbled, "what's wrong boy? Did Nyx hurt you? GOOD" it said
I swung my sword at the shadows but it was no use, the shadow seemed liquidy but once my sword made contact it was as hard as steel "swords are no use!" I shouted to the other two, "then how are we going to defeat this thing?" Sugu shouted, "you know....this thing has a name, ITS NYX!" Nyx shouted at us, bolts of the shadow kept shooting out of Nyx hitting all three of us, our health was depleting and we couldn't do anything about it, I saw the next bolt flying towards me so I held my sword in front of me deflecting the bolt, "just defend yourselves with your weapons until we can figure something out!" I shouted, "alright!" They shouted back in unison, the bolts kept flying at us and we deflected as many as possible but there were still some that would hit us, lowering our health, I looked at my health and saw that I only had 350 health points (which is reaaaallly low in ALO) I need to think of something fast, before the three of us are killed and don't get those rare items

----Shino's P.O.V.----

"Wait, so if Nyx is a shadow then I think I know how to defeat him!" I shouted and pulled out my bow and some fire and explosive arrows out, I shot two arrows at a time, a fire arrow and a explosive arrow, it blew a whole in Nyx
"Aaargh!" Nyx cried in pain, I repeatedly shot a combination of fire and explosive arrows at Nyx, there was a big whole in the center of Nyx, I ran out of explosive arrows so I shot a barrage of fire arrows, the fires combined and the fire began spreading until it completely covered Nyx and his Health depleted to zero
We were freed from the shadows holding our feet down so we couldn't move, "wow Shino that was awesome! Great work!" Kazuto said, "yea that was amazing!" Sugu said, "thanks guys but it was simple, he was a shadow so the only way to get rid of him is light so I used fire and explosive arrows" I said looking at them, "yea, how did I not think of that" Kazuto laughed, "alright now to collect the items" I said, "oh yea" they both said, there were six items, three rare and three common, the three common were just health potions, the three rare were the ring of shadows which allowed you to be unseen if walking in a shadow, the greaves of agility which allowes you to move faster, and a scroll that allowed you to learn a new spell, the spell is " entanglment of Nyx" it summons a shadow beneath the enemies feet and wraps around the enemies feet to prevent them from moving, Kazuto got the ring of shadows, I got the greaves of agility and Sugu got the scroll, we were all satisfied with the items we got and the three of us went back to the cabin and we logged out
When I took my Amusphere off I looked over to see Kazuto taking his Amusphere off, "that was creepy...but fun" I laughed, "haha yea, it was" he also laughed, we both got up and walked out the room to see Sugu walking out her room, "I'm in a movie watching mood" Kazuto said, "the three of us should watch a movie" Sugu suggested, "that sounds fun haha" I said, "what movie should we watch?" He asked, "I don't know about you but I say we watch Suicide Squad" I suggested (I know I know, its not even out yet, I just REALLY REALLY wanna see it lol) "yea, I love Suicide Squad" Kazuto said "that Harley Quinn sure is somethin" he said, then he looked at me, I was eyeing him down, "I'm joking, I'm joking" he scratched the back of his head and has a nervous smile" (I just had to add that in lol)
Kazuto turned on the TV and the ps4 and went on Netflix and we all had a really great time watching Suicide Squad and when I caught Kazuto staring at Harley Quinn I would elbow him in the ribs and me and Sugu would laugh, then I would give him a kiss on the cheek and we continued watching the movie and when the movie was over I saw that Kazuto had fallen asleep, I tried waking him up but he wouldn't budge, so I just grabbed a blanket and pulled it over us and I wrapped my arms around him and drifted off to sleep

A/N: hey guys, here's chapter 11, I can't believe I'm at 600 reads! That's amazing! Thank you guys so much for getting me here! It may not be much but 600 is a big deal for me, 1000 reads is just around the corner, that's awesome! But yea I hope you guys enjoyed, yea I mentioned Suicide Squad, I'm so excited for the movie, although I don't really like how the joker looks much but oh well, its still gonna be an amazing movie, I can't wait, but yea awesome, I'll see you guys maybe sometime this weekend or Monday, byyyye (^～^)
