Chapter 1

Hey angels, this is my first story and I do not know how long it will be yet but I hope you all enjoy it
Also even though this takes place after GMTriangle doesn't mean the characters are going to be exactly the same, because this is a fanfiction, and my fanfiction will have more mature content so if you're like 9 and get offended by cussing and sexual stuff don't read

Maya laid in her bed that night thinking about the crazy day she had. "You picked Riley" she recants in her head a million times. What she really meant was "I'm stepping back (again) I'm sorry but I can't do this to Riley, she's my best friend and she deserves you more than I ever would"

"It's for the best" She told herself. "He was going to choose her anyways" She continued.

She tossed and turned for what seemed like days. Maya looked over at her alarm clock and noticed it was 6:35 AM

"Dammit" She yelled aloud "I'm going to be late for school" She scrambled to get all her stuff together and get changed. She brushed her teeth and put her hair in a messy bun and was out the door by 6:50. She made her way to the subway.

She texted Riley:
Maya: Are you riding the Subway?
Riley: No, not today, dads giving me a ride. See you at school (:

She put her phone away and got into the subway. She walked to her normal spot by the pole and grabbed on. Looking around at familiar faces (ones she usually saw on the subway) then she stopped and stood still as she noticed someone staring at her.

She tried to look away as fast as she could but it was to late, he noticed her.
The man was revealed to be Lucas.

"Maya!" He yelled as he walked up to her.
"Hey, um-uh how are you?"
Maya just rolled her eyes at him and looked away
"What did I do wrong?" Lucas asked
"Nothing" She responded
"Doesn't seem like nothing"
"Nothing to do with you, just.. personal issues" She fired back
"Maya" Lucas said softly "You can tell me anything"

Maya walked away from him annoyed by how nice he was. She got off the subway as fast as she could and blended in with the crowd before Lucas could catch up with her.

Maya finally arrived at school. She had to go to first period. None of her friends where in that class with her besides Farkle but he sits all the way across the room. Her teachers name was Mr.Branson (from Scream lol)

"Good morning class" Mr.B spoke. "Today we will be learning about reproduction, yeah go ahead laugh if you want, but this is science class"

Maya dozed off in her thoughts about Riley and Lucas.

"Ms.Hart" Mr.B yelled, scaring Maya
"Um-yes?" She responded
"What did I just say?"
"I don't know, but I'm guessing that whoever I'm fucking isn't going to be asking me stupid science questions, so it's not important" Maya fired back, the whole class laughed
"See me after class!" Mr.B yelled
Maya rolled her eyes

About 15 minutes passed and the bell range. Everyone got up to leave including Maya, she tried to walk out but  Mr.B stopped her grabbing her by the hip. Maya quietly gasped at the feeling of her teachers hand on her hip.

She quickly pulled out of his grasp and stood back about 4 feet away from him. Staring at him with a disgusted look on her face.

"Maya, you can't disrespect me like that, in front of my class" he said in a stern voice.
"Ugh I'm sorry Mr.B I've just been having a rough couple of days" Maya responded
"Sorry isn't going to cut it this time Maya, you have detention this whole week"
"What? No I can't, I have to be home for my mom"
"I don't know Maya. Maybe there's another way you can pay up" Mr.Branson said while stepping closer to her and rubbing her arm

"Uh-what are you doing?" Maya yelled pulling away.
"Don't act like you don't want it" He spoke
"Fuck you!" She yelled and grabbed her stuff and ran out of the classroom with tears in her eyes.

She ran into the bathroom and grabbed some paper towels and wiped away her tears. She sat down on the floor next to the sinks and buried her face in her shaking hands. She pulled her phone out of her back pocket her hands still shaking as she struggled to unlock her phone. She called Riley, but she didn't answer, probably already in History class, where she was supposed to be. "FUCK!" She yelled throwing her phone across the bathroom floor.

After a while Missy walked into the bathroom.
"Maya Hart?" Missy asked
Maya looked up from her hands
"Uh-yeah?"
"Why are you here? Are you skipping!?" Missy accused
"What? No-" Maya tried to explain but Missy interrupted her
"I'm going back to class and telling Mr.Matthews!" Missy shouted
"No please don't. I just want to be alone" Maya begged, her voice sounding shaky and dry.
"Fuck you Maya why would I help you skip after all the shit you did to me" Missy yelled
"What? Missy I have no idea what you're talking about" She really didn't.
"Oh don't play dumb with me. You're all over Lucas all the time, and you know I like him!" Missy yelled sounding really upset.
"I'm sorry Missy, but I didn't know you liked him... We're-we are done anyways" Maya said feeling a pit in her stomach.

Missy looked relieved. She walked over to the wall that Maya was leaning her back against, and slowly scouted down the wall until she was at Maya's level.

Maya looked over at her and gave her a weak smile. Missy stared at Maya and noticed that her eyes where puffy and cheeks where red.
"Hey" Missy spoke softly putting a hand on Maya's knee,
"What's wrong?"
Maya looked up at Missy and felt tears rushing back to her face, she just started crying she couldn't help it.
"I-I don't want to.. to talk about it." Maya said wiping tears away from her face.
"It's okay, I understand" Missy said

Maya leaned her head on Missy's shoulder. They stayed like that for all of 2nd period.
