Chapter Forty-Six

Chapter Forty-Six: The Deathly Hallows (Part One)

Everyone was going to Harry's today because we have to transfer him to the burrow. I argued with mom for 20 minutes straight, just so I could go. I know she is just trying to protect me but all I do is stay home now. I want to take action.

Once we got to Harry's house, it seemed so deserted.

"Harry!" I smiled, pulling him into a hug. We all walked in and Bill introduced himself to Harry.

"We have to get out of here! Talk later!" Moody burst through the door.

"Harry you're underage, if you so much as sneeze, the ministry has your exact location." he handed all of us a flask.

"What's this for?" I asked.

"Try it, it's our plan." I shrugged and drank it. I started to feel weird like I wasn't myself, if that makes sense. Me being short, I grew a foot and all I was in was my-

"WOAH!" I hollered as Tonks tossed me a blanket and I laughed. I looked into a mirror and I was completely shocked. I was Harry? We all were Harry? They tossed us all of Harry's clothes and we changed.

"No, absolutely not! If you think I'm going to let you sacrifice your lives for me, you're wrong."

"All of us here except you and Maddie are of age. They have all agreed to take the risk." Harry smiled at me.

"You don't have to do this."

"I know, I want to." I smiled and he pulled me into a hug.

"This feels so weird, being you and all." he chuckled.

"Maddie, you will go with Harry and Hagrid." I nodded.

"On three," Moody counted. "one, two, three.." We followed the others into the air. We sped onto the highway and Hagrid got hit buy a sleeping spell. Harry and I reached for the wheel. As Harry was driving, he started to scream.

"Harry?" I screamed and I saw a black figure emerge beside me. I screamed as my cart started to unhitch. I saw a green and red light burst against each other. I realized who it was and I pulled out my wand. I saw his wand shatter and he fell. Hagrid awoke and sped up.

We splashed into the water and my cart unhitched, leaving me about 15 feet away from where they stopped.

"Maddie, are you alright?" Harry asked as he jumped out. He ran towards me and helped me out.

"I'm fine." I jumped out as Mom and Ginny ran out.

"What happened? Where are the others?" she panicked.

"They're not back yet?" I asked. I heard someone apparate before I saw George and Lupin. Blood was pouring out of George's ear. I sprinted over and helped George onto my shoulder.

"Mum," I said, walking into the house as Lupin and I laid him on the couch. Lupin lunged at Harry, throwing him against the wall.

"Lupin!" I screamed.

"Are you mad?" Harry shouted.

"What creature sat in the corner the first time Harry Potter visited my office at Hogwarts?!"

"A Gryndylow!" he shouted and Lupin released him.

"We've been betrayed. You-know-who knew we were moving Harry tonight. I had to make sure you weren't an impostor." We all ran outside to wait for others. Ron and Tonks arrived off the Thestral. Hermione looked at me before running towards Ron.

"Thanks." he smiled. 

"Where's George?" Dad asked me and I gestured inside. His smile changed very quickly.

"How you feeling Georgie?" Fred asked, kneeling next to him.

"Saint-like."

"Come again?"

"Saint-like, I'm holy. I'm holey Fred, get it?" he smiled, pointing to his ear.

"You've got all the ear related humor and you go with 'I'm holy', that's pathetic." Fred laughed.

"Reckon I'm still better lookin' than you." I rolled my eyes and grabbed a wet washcloth. I handed it to Fred and he laid it over his ear. Bill stepped forward.

"Mad Eye is dead," everyone fell silent. "Madungus took one good look at Voldemort and disapparated."

"They know exactly where he went." 

All these characters belong to J.K. Rowling. All credit goes to her for some of the plot and all of setting (characters, etc.) I made Maddie Weasley, that is it. I am just a girl who wants to write fanfictions.

I was going to go at a whole different approach to this chapter but I didn't really like the way it resulted. Love you guys and welcome to The Deathly Hallows! Lol that sounded cool!
