Dates and Tears

Ding!
Adam abruptly looked up in class to the sound of his phone. He shot his hand forward and shoved his phone into his pocket before the teacher made it to his desk.
"What's are rule about phones?"
"Sorry, Mrs. Hanagan." When she walked away, he pulled it out.

Sally-Hey you.

He looked towards the clock just as the bell rang. Quickly realizing it was the last class of the day, he gathered his stuff and walked out.
After he packed his bag and slung it over his shoulder, he texted back.

Adam-Heyy

Sally-What's up?

Adam-Nothing much, just about to walk home. Forgot my bike.
Adam-I didn't see you at school today.

A few moments passed before her reply appeared.

Sally-I didn't feel good.

He thought for a second, not sure on what to say.

Adam-What are you doing later?

He erased it and rephrased.

Adam-You busy?

Sally-Yeah
Sally-Why?

Adam-No reason

Nether of them texted, both of them waiting for the other to respond.

Watch went up to Adams room, entering without knocking.
"What are you doing here?" He asked, confused on why his friend was here without Sally.
"I thought we could study here. For the math test."
"Oh, okay. Yeah, that sounds good."
"Are you okay?" Watch asked as he sat down on a chair by Adams desk. Adam looked down at his phone just when he received a text from Sally.

Sally-Do boys like girly?

When Adam made a face at his phone, Watch walked over and looked at the screen.
"Why would she ask that?"
"I don't know." He muttered, typing a response.

Adam-Why?

Sally-I have a date.
Sally-Do boys like it when a girl dresses girly?

Adam coughed, shocked from her answer.
Adam-With who?
Adam-You're not girly.

Sally-A guy named Noah.
Sally-That's not the point.

"What kind of name is Noah?" Adam asked himself. "Somethings up with Sally. She wouldn't change herself for a boy."

Adam-When are you going out? What are you doing?

"You're so jealous." Watch laughed.

Sally-8:30
Sally-My house, since my parents aren't home, why?

Adam-No reason

Adam and Watch looked at each other. This didn't sound good.
"What happened to our Sally?" Watch mumbled, half to himself. They checked the time.
8:20.

Sally-How's this?

Sally-How's this?
