The winter wind blows cold and the snow falls fast.
Scalding hot cups of coffee can't warm me up like you do.
The ground begins to thaw and the air grows warmer.
New life is on the horizon and it's the time of year for new starts.
It's a shame I'm starting it off alone.
The summer days are long and filled with adventure.
There are so many new places to see and people to meet.
There's not a single one that compares to you.
But maybe that doesn't matter because you're way over there and at least they're here.
Autumn is a time for falling.
The leaves fall and the temperature does too.
I fit right in now, seems I'm still falling too.
The seasons change and pass us by.
The years will go by too and it hurts to look back and realize I let all of this time go by while we weren't side by side.
