Draco's POV:

For once in a lifetime!

Draco's POV!!!

I knew that voice anywhere.

A shiver ran down my spine.

It wasn't my father.

It wasn't Ron.

It was someone far worse.

Voldemort.

I stared out the window.

All was dark.

I couldn't even see Hermione.

"Illuminos." I whispered.

Idk if that's how you spell it...

A small orb of light lit up the car.

I still couldn't see outside, however.

I thought about sending the orb outside of the car, but I decided against it.

I looked over at Hermione.

She stared at me with wide eyes.

I leaned back in my seat, trying to think of something to do.

Suddenly, Hermione screamed, snapping me out of my trance.

My head snapped over to look at her.

Her eyes were bugging out.

Oddly, her arm was still outside the car.

I looked all around her.

There was nothing there.

She was still screaming.

Suddenly, I remembered something.

When Hermione was tortured by Bellatrix, and I just stood off too the side.

Hermione was helpless, not me.

At the time, I had thought that I was the helpless one.

That I couldn't do anything to stop Hermione's suffering.

I had vowed to never do that again.

That's what I was doing now.

I jolted up in my seat.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

She gritted her teeth.

"My arm... Its burning." She stammered.

I could hear the pain in her voice.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"It's like a hot iron is being pressed on my arm..." She hissed through clenched teeth.

I knew I had to do something.

But what!?

"Hermione. On the count of three, pull towards me as hard as you can." I whispered.

Hermione nodded, tears in her eyes.

"One." I whispered, grabbing her shoulders.

"Two."

"Three!" I said.

Hermione pulled on her arm, and I pulled on her shoulder.

Slowly, Hermione's arm was pulled inside the car.

Once it was free, I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding.

"Better?" I asked.

She nodded.

"Let me see." I said.

Hermione held out her arm.

I growled when I saw what had happened.

There was red skin in the shape of a hand around her arm.

She was right.

The skin was burnt.

"Does it hurt?" I asked.

"Yea." She whispered.

Suddenly, there was a pounding at the back of the car.

I looked at Hermione.

I grabbed her hand.

She nodded.

With that, we disappeared with a pop.

So.

They escaped.

That's good.

But what will come next?

Lots of love and Potter vibes, Vanessa
