Hey guys!

I'm not going to slow down your ecstasy with a bunch of chit-chat, so let's get right into the story!

Hermione's POV:

I gasped as we entered the room.

Draco was in here.

He was surrounded by a bubble in the back of the room.

He floated there limply.

I wasn't shocked to see restraints on him.

Though they were almost invisible, there were chains connecting Draco's ankles and wrists.

His face was smeared with blood, as were his hands and legs.

I ran up to him.

I placed my hand on the bubble.

Nothing happened.

I pushed against it, and the bubble shifted.

Draco moved with it.

I experimented with it a bit.

I pushed the bubble back and forth.

I had an idea.

"Ginny, can you help me?" I called to her.

She had been lingering in the doorway.

"What do you need?" She asked.

She walked over to me.

"If you don't mind, could you help me get this over there?" I asked, pointing to the left wall.

"Why?" Ginny questioned, her face confused.

I pointed to a spike on the wall that held a Death Eater mask.

Ginny grinned at me.

"Accio mask!" I yelled.

The mask soared into my hand.

Now the spike was free of anything that might dull its effect.

I laid out the plan to Ginny.

"Okay. We need to get the bubble over to the spike, but not too fast. We don't want it to roll out of pur control. Then, since Draco always stays upright, he can't be poked by the spike. Then, we just hope that the bubble isn't enchanted so that nothing can puncture it." I said.

Ginny nodded in agreement.

I took a deep breath.

"Okay. Let's do this." I whispered.

Ginny and I stepped up to the bubble.

Slowly, we rocked and rolled the bubble over to the spike.

We looked at each other.

Ginny nodded.

I held my breath as we push the bubble onto the spike.

At first, nothing happened.

Then, there was a pop that sounded like a bomb.

I knew that the bubble had popped.

I opened my eyes.

I looked for Draco.

He was lying on the floor, limp.

I ran to him.

His blonde hair was streaked with grime and blood.

A tear rolled down my cheek and onto his.

It paved its way through the blood and dirt on Draco's face, showing a streak of his porcelain skin.

I knew that Draco, and I, would never be the same.

Ok guys.

Chill.

THIS IS NOT THE END OF THIS BOOK!

I'm not joking.

This isn't the end.

The end is close, but there will be a few more chapters.

Anyway, I hope that you like this update.

Lots of love and Potter vibes, Vanessa
