* Pack meeting everyone that includes Peyton *
What? I'm never included in pack meetings./Maybe he's telling everyone about us/ my wolf said in a hopeful tone,/no, he’d never do that/I told her but I could’t help but feel hopeful as well.
We all went to the main pack house and stood in a circle, everyone waited for ex-alpha Russell and his son Damien (the alpha) to speak.
"Everyone, I would like to announce that my son, Damien, has found his mate" Russell said with pride and joy."I would like everyone to meet their new Luna-Christina O'Reilly" cheers and claps erupted and I couldn't help but to feel betrayal, a growl escaped from my lips and everyone's heads snapped in my direction
"Do you have a problem Peyton" Damien said in disgust
"Uh N-no, m-m-my w-wolf was just happy f-for my sister, alpha" I managed to stutter out an excuse, everyone seemed to buy it but my parents and siblings sent hateful glares at me.
"Meet me in the forest at 12am sharp" alpha Damien said through the mind link
The celebration went on for hours until finally everyone left while I cleaned up
(12 am)
I walked to the forest and found my sister, Damien and 4 men from the pack
"Glad you could come 'Peyton,'" Damien spat out my name as if it was disgusting
"Um w-what's this all about?" I asked with uncertainty
"YOU KNOW WHAT IT'S ABOUT, YOU FAT SLUT!" my sister screamed.
I just stared at her with shock, what did I do to be called a slut? Christina looked as if she was going to transform and to be honest I was shit scared
"Peyton O'Reilly, I, Damien Leone reject you as my mate"
"Wh-what I..." I was cut off by my own piercing scream as pain surged through my body, my no longer existent heart felt like it was burned and then chopped to bits, I fell to the ground writhing in pain, unable to move.
My sister clicked her fingers and instantly the four men came and started beating me while Damien looked at me with a pitiful expression after 10 minutes of beating Damien ordered them to stop
"You go first babe, I need to have a little chat with my sister"
Damien walked away hesitantly
"And now for the finishing touch" my sister whispered menacingly, I whimpered helplessly as my sister pulled out a silver gun
"A silver bullet to pierce your stupid heart" I closed my eyes and waited, "I'm sorry mate" I whispered when she pulled the trigger. BANG! I felt the wind whip around me as darkness filled my vision.
