Chapter 5 ~ Kitten

{I apologize in advanced for all the notp fluff in this chapter BUT for le STORY to be le story, this has to be here, also I felt like finishing it cause like it's already done just not looked over and this story haunts me at night for not being finished, so here I am 2 years later finishing so the writings gonna be different sorry.}

Troye bounces out of bed with exhilaration. He had been planning this afternoon for a couple of days and he just couldn't hold back his excitement. He felt guilty for accidentally ignoring Dan, so he was going to spend his whole day hanging out with him. Not wanting to waste time, he throws on the first outfit he sees and looks in the mirror.

"I think I look cute." Troye says to himself while bringing his hands up to his face and smiling. After taking one last glance, Troye walks over to the curtains and yanks them open. "RISE AND SHINE KITTEN! TIME FOR A DAY OF FUN AND ONLY FUN." Dan groans while pulling the pillow over his face.

"Its too early, come back in 2 years." Troye rolls his eyes at Dan's lazy attitude and tugs the covers off of his roommate's body. Dan lets out a small squeak at the sudden feeling of cold. Troye couldn't help but let his eyes linger on Dan's bare chest a little longer than it should have. Dan blushes slightly as he follows Troye's gaze and the mop head quickly focuses his eyes on a poster in their room. There was a small pause before Dan decided to sit up.

"Why are you waking me up at-" Dan takes a second to look at his phone. "Eight A.M. on a Saturday?" he questions while yawning. Troye flashes his friend a bright smile and pulls him off the bed.

"Today is just gonna be me and you. No Tyler. No Connor. Just two buds hanging out." he explains while picking out a simple outfit for Dan.

"Here." Troye says while shoving the clothes in Dan's arms. "Hurry up and put these on." Dan makes a sound in protest but doesn't disobey his friend. He learned his lesson when he hid Troye's headphones, but that's another story.

Like any other cliche surprise, Dan was blindfolded and heading to an unknown location with Troye. The gag is, in Dan's mind, he thought "just me and you", was going to be a few movies here and a couple Mario Kart rounds there, but obviously Troye wasn't that type of person. Dan was getting restless. One, his vision had been restricted and two, they had been driving for at least forty-five minuets and Troye hadn't said anything. Dan couldn't help but think about the BuzzFeed Unsolved video he saw earlier and shivered.

"Troye?" Dan says quietly as he picks at his fingernails.

"Hm?"

"Y-you wouldn't kill me right?" He stutters. Troye stays quiet wondering why Dan asked him such an off the wall question. Seconds later he puts the pieces together and laughs softly.

"Don't tell me you're scared because I put a blind fold on you. I'm actually hurt that you don't trust me." he replies while dramatically wiping a tear even though Dan couldn't see him. The blindfolded boy tries to hurriedly explain his thinking earning another chuckle from Troye. "I'm just yanking your tail Kitten. No need to get your panties in a bunch. We're here anyway." Troye finishes as Dan feels the car come to a stop.

"Good, now I can take the blind fold off." Dan sighs in relief as he struggles to get the thick cloth untied. "What kind of knot did you tie this in Jesus." Troye lets out a small giggle.

"Just let me do it, but lets get out the taxi first I'm sure he has other jobs."
Dan gives a quiet thank you to the taxi driver and cautiously steps out of the car. After doing so, it didn't take rocket science to find out where he was. The smell of funnel cake in the air, the screams of terror and joy, Troye had taken him to an amusement park. Dan smiles as he remembered telling him how much he loved these growing up.
