After a little while of flying we came to the grove. We dove through the man shaped hole and landed smoothly on the other side. I looked around warily, attempting to make sure there wasn't an enemy around. I unmounted Widow and stroked her mane.
"Stay in the area okay?" I asked.
"Sure thing M'Lady." She neighed and took off into the air and through the hole. I walked over to where the two trunks met and placed my hand on them. They separated and I stepped through. The grove was quiet, the branches swaying ever so slightly. I walked to the center tree with the chimes hanging in the branches.
"My name is Rae Winchester Daughter of Poseidon. I'm here to receive the Prophecy for my quest." I called up to the trees. Suddenly the grove filled with millions of voices.
"Gahhh...." I covered my ears as they grew louder. And then they quieted. A voice boomed from the chimes.
"The Daughter Of Poseidon
With two mortal brothers
Shall fight the odds
To recover Hera's lost crown
And Death shall stake his claim"
And with that, the grove went silent.
