"Mel I'll call you later." I said as I disconnected the phone call standing up from the position I was in "We have absolutely nothing to talk about! Shawn you used me and it's as simple as that."
"No I didn't!"
"Well what do you call stringing someone along!" I yelled as I stormed past him
"Can you please just give me a second to explain!" Shawn took ahold of my wrist halting me from walking any further I turned looking at him tears welling in the corners of my eyes
"I will admit that at first I was just in it for the money."
I held my head down pulling my lip between my teeth choking back the tears that were demanding to fall from my eyes
"But on that car ride here it became something much more than just a dare, I like you nova I really do and I want to prove that to you."
"How?"
"By doing this."
I watched as Shawn pulled out his phone
and held his finger against the nerve app
a big x appeared in the corner of the app
and shawn clicked it choosing the delete option
the app disappeared from his phone and he looked at me slowly leaning down he pressed his lips up against mine and our lips moved in sync with one another's for a moment or so before he pulled away
"I sure hope you weren't dared to do that." I whispered
"Trust me, I wasn't."
