Jared's POV(Unedited)
That evening, Vicky sets me up with some red headed guy. He is very handsome with exotic looks.I think he has some Persian mixed there. He is tall,great body,I am impressed.
We are meeting at a Cafe at 7:00pm.
I quickly dress up in jeans and a tight maroon top and leave for my date. I don't want to be late.
I arrive a few minutes to seven and he is already there. As soon as he spots me,he stands up and waves to me.
I head over to his table and I am abit nervous.
"Hello,am Casper" he says
"Helo,am Jared" I say sticking my hand out for a handshake but he instead hugs me and I hug him back blushing. I peep at him too and he blushes also.
We take our seats and order for our food and we go straight into conversation,
"You look great" he says
"You're smoking hot too" I reply and we both burst out laughing.
"So why a dating site?" I ask Casper
"I was looking for a new start, I broke up with my ex-boyfriend because I was tired of our situation. He never had time for me, he is a football player and football always came first to him" he replies
"Well,I liked this guy for a year and he always said no no matter what I did,I decided to let go" I say
He takes hold of my hand and says,
"Seems we both weren't treated well,but I hope this is a new chapter" Casper says
"I hope so too" I reply
After that,our food is served and we eat,discussing different topics. I found out we had a lot in common, we both had watched almost all the same movies, we were both crazy about Manchester United,we both loved eating.
We talked so much till we both realised it was late.
"What? Its midnight Jared!" Casper exclaims
"Woow, I didn't even realise" I reply
Casper pays the bill and insisted when I tried to pay.
"How about you pay for the next one"
if you want there to be a next time" he quickly adds
"Yes,I've had so much fun,so what should we do next time?" I ask
"Well,there is that match for United on Saturday, we can catch the match,then maybe go out to dinner" Casper says
"We have a deal" I say
By now we are outside in the parking lot. We exchange numbers and finally, I reach out and hug Casper. We hug and say goodbye and both of us drive off.
On the way to my room,i am so happy,the date went well and I really liked Casper. It felt good to like someone and they like you back. Not like me and Noel.
As soon as I open the door,I find Vicky waiting for me.
"How was it?" She asks
"Fantastic" I reply with a smile falling back on my bed.
"Is there a second date?" She asks
"Of course, on Saturday" I reply
"Am happy fit you" Vicky says hugging me.
I just enter the covers and fall into a deep sleep.
Casper's POV
I really had a great time with Jared. I didn't even think about my ex-boyfriend. I actually had a great time. It felt good to be with someone who pays attention to you and listens to you.
I really want someone to put me first,I was tired of being second, having to compete for attention with a sport..
I can't wait for next Saturday.
