The following day, Diana was supposed to go over to Taylor's and watch her grandkids around 1:00, when Taylor was in the studio and Natalie went out with some friends. But on her way out, she got a phone call from one of her friends, stating that she urgently needed her help. She panicked for a moment but then thought of Sarah. Hoping she could get her to babysit, she gave her a call.
Sarah was out looking around for a job when her cell phone rang. She had heard from Isaac earlier that day, who had told her that they just didn't need the extra help right now, but that they would keep her in mind if that were to change. Quickly leaving the library, she answered her phone. " Hello."
" Sarah, I have a bit of a problem and I need your help. Are you good with kids by any chance?" Diana asked her.
" I think I am, yeah. I used to babysit my cousins when they were younger. Who needs a babysitter?"
" Well, I was supposed to watch Taylor's kids this afternoon but an emergency with a friend has come up. Do you mind helping me out? Or would five kids be too much for you?"
" I'll be fine with five kids/ I'm at the library applying for a job. Pick me up and I will be glad to watch them."
They hung up, and Sarah went back inside to quickly finish filling out the application. Diana was there in ten minutes, and she handed it in on her way out.
Diana pulled into the driveway of Taylor's home just moments later, and Natalie came out of the house with her purse on her shoulder and a light jacket in her hand. Sarah got out of the car and nervously introduced herself to her. The two shook hands, and Diana rolled down the car window to explain that she had an emergency to take care of and that Sarah would be taking over for her. Before Natalie could object to this, Diana pulled out of the driveway.
" I promise I can handle them. I've done some babysitting before. Never more than one at a time, but it will be fine. Please go and have a good time with your friends." Sarah told her, trying to reassure her it was okay to leave.
" Are you sure? They really can be quite a handful" Natalie looked at her questioningly.
" Yes. They will be fine with me. Just tell me whatever you need me to know and you can take off."
Natalie nodded and explained to her that Wilhelmenia had just been put down for a nap and would more than likely be up in a few hours, ready to eat. Then she took Sarah inside to introduce her to the kids.
Ezra and River were sitting at the TV playing video games and they barely looked up at Sarah when introduced. This annoyed Natalie, and she stepped in front of the television to get their attention. " You two are being very rude. Now apologize to Sarah and say hello."
They looked over at her. " We're sorry." They replied to her in unison. " It's nice to meet you, Sarah." Ezra smiled at her, before looking back at his mom. " Now can we go back to our game?"
Natalie shook her head and stepped out of the way. She pointed over at Penny who was lying on the floor with her coloring books and crayons. " This is Penny. She's usually the easiest to handle."
Sarah smiled at Penny, who looked up at her and smiled back. " Hi. How are you?"
"I'm good." Sarah sat next to her on the floor. " What's this your coloring?"
" Beauty and The Beast." Penny showed her the coloring and picked out her next crayon. " It's my favorite cartoon."
" Mine too. I love it." Sarah looked at the coloring she had done. " It looks beautiful."
Natalie smiled to see the two interacting so well together. " Viggo is probably in the playroom watching some sort of cartoon, I'm sure he be out shortly." She looked at Sarah questioningly again. " Are you sure you can handle this?"
" Totally. Please go ahead and have some fun. I'll be fine and so will your kids." Sarah told her.
" Okay." She said with a nod. " Kids, please be good for her. If I hear that any of you have given her problems, you will be grounded from your favorite activities for a week." With that, she walked out the door.
Sarah looked over at the two boys as they played their video game, and then back at Penny. " Can I color with you, Penny? I see you have other coloring books."
Penny nodded and handed her one. " Yeah. You can color in this one. There's only a few pages left."
Taking it, she opened it up to see it was a Disney princess coloring book. She went to the end of it and found three pages left to be colored in. Grabbing a crayon, she began to color with her.

A couple of hours went by, and Wilhelmina woke up as Natalie told her she would. The boys were still playing video games, although Sarah decided that needed to change. Before going to grab their sister out of bed, she stood in front of the TV now herself to get their attention. " I'm pretty sure your mom doesn't want to see you two in front of the TV all day, so I would appreciate it if you two did something like go outside and play or something. It's a nice day. Fill up some water guns and have a good old-fashioned water fight."
River looked at his brother and shrugged his shoulders. " You want to, Ezra? That would be fun."
" Sure. But can we pause this and come back to it in a little while please?" Ezra asked her.
Sarah nodded. " That would be fine. Go ahead and grab your water guns and go out back."
The boys did as they were told and Sarah went to grab Wilhelmina out of bed. She got her nice and cleaned up after noticing she had an accident and took her into the kitchen. Sitting in the baby seat, she found the food and was feeding her when Viggo came into the room. " Who are you?" He asked sleepily. She guessed he had fallen asleep watching a movie.
" My name is Sarah and I'm your babysitter today. How are you, Viggo?" She asked, feeding Wilhelmina another bite of food.
" Okay. I'm kind of hungry actually." He admitted shyly.
" Well, why don't you finish feeding her this and I'll make you a little snack. What would you like?" She asked, handing him the spoon.
" Can I have a caramel apple? That sounds good."
Sarah nodded and went into the fridge. She found the apples and the caramel, taking both out. Cutting up an apple she put a couple of spoonfuls of caramel into a bowl along with it, and set it on the table for him. " Do you think they would mind if I had one? I love caramel apples too."
" Yeah. I think it would be fine." Viggo told her, feeding the last bite of food to his sister.
Cutting up another apple, she gave herself a couple of spoonfuls of caramel as well before taking a seat next to Viggo. They ate their snack and watched Wilhelmina play with her doll Viggo had brought her to play with while they ate.
