Taylor couldn't believe it when Sarah called him the following day, and told him she couldn't come over again without adult supervision. He didn't understand why, especially since she left out the part about having a crush on him. It pissed him off though that his parents were treating her like a kid, and he intended to let them know it. He had just gotten off the phone with her, and was now on his way to his parents house. The last thing he wanted was for her to be treated like a kid when she was over thirty, not to mention the fact that he enjoyed spending time with her.

Knocking on the door moments later, his dad was the one to open the door and let him in. He walked in, and looked around the living room. " Where is mom? I need to talk to both of you."

" She is in the kitchen. Is everything okay, Taylor?" Walker asked him, seeing that his son was pissed off. " Did something happen with Natalie and the kids?"

Taylor walked into the kitchen, his dad following behind him. " No. This is about another matter." He saw his mom at the oven, taking out a sheet of cookies. " Mom, what is this about Sarah not being able to come over to my house anymore? Why in the hell would you try to keep her from spending any alone time with me?" He asked angrily.

Diana nearly dropped the tray of cookies at the way her son was talking to her. She couldn't believe he would swear at her. " Excuse me? You have no right to talk to me like that, Jordan Taylor Hanson." She managed to balance the tray and set it on the counter. " As far as Sarah is concerned, I am going to have a talk with her when she get's home from work. She shouldn't have..."

" No. You have no right to... to ground her basically from coming over to my house. She is a grown adult. I don't care what reasoning you have behind it. She is not some kid you can order around, mom." Taylor snapped, interrupting her.

" You will stop talking to your mother that way, Taylor. Now we have a good reason for this, and you both will deal with it. That is the new rule around here. We don't want you two spending any alone time together and that is final." Walker snapped back at him, angry that his son would talk to her in that way.

" You two are crazy. What do you think we are going to do? Sleep together? I am just in the middle of getting a divorce! At least I'm pretty sure that's where my marriage is headed. And I am pretty sure Sarah understands that I am in no shape to get involved with her right now at this moment in time!" He exclaimed, getting frustrated. " Stop treating her like a kid. She doesn't need it, not after going through that at home with her aunt and uncle. She did tell me about that the other day, and she just... she needs you two to just... let her be!"

" We have made our decision and are not going back on it, Taylor. Now if you can't treat us with respect, you can leave." Diana turned to face her son, glaring at him. " You don't come in here and start yelling at us. This is our home and we will run it our way."

This surprised him. His parents had never once kicked him out of their home. He started to say something, but gave up. Storming his way out of the house, he went to his car and started it up. He drove off, and headed back home.

Things didn't get much better when Sarah made it back home from work. Walker and Diana let her know they weren't too happy that she had gone crying to Taylor about not being able to spend time with him, even if it was the truth. It ended with a yelling match and Sarah walking away from them. She didn't slam her door this time, though she wanted to. Instead she blasted up some music, turning on Hanson's music. She was surprised when they didn't come up to yell at her about that.

Her cell phone rang about fifteen minutes later. She took a deep breath, and looked to see who it was. She was surprised to see it was Isaac calling. " Hello." She answered, trying to hold more tears back.

" Sarah, have you heard from Taylor today? I've tried calling him about ten times in the last two hours and he isn't picking up." Isaac told her, and she could hear the concern in his voice.

" I talked to him earlier, and I know he came by the house earlier. I had told him how stupid your parents were being about me and him spending anymore time together and he got mad I guess. He got into some huge fight with them and left." Sarah sighed. " This is my fault. I never should have..."

" Sarah, I'm not blaming you for anything. I was just wondering if you had heard from him. But now I'm just worried. I'm going to come pick you up and we'll look for him together. You can tell me what's going on entirely from there. Just don't tell my parents obviously that this involves Taylor."

" Sounds good. I could use some time away from your parents." They hung up, and she grabbed her purse. Heading down the stairs, she saw Diana and Walker curled up on the couch together.

" Where do you think your going?" Walker asked her, when he saw her come down the stairs with her purse on her shoulder.

" Isaac just called me. He's picking me up so we can spend some time getting to know each other. Go ahead and call him if you don't believe me." She looked out the window, wondering how close he was to getting there.

" I know you think we are being too hard on you, but we are only looking out for you. Getting involved with our son would not be good for either of you. He needs to work things out with Natalie and you need to find someone who comes with no baggage." Diana told her.

Sarah ignored her, and continued watching out the window for Isaac. Walker didn't seem to appreciate that and he let her know it. " You will speak to us when spoken to, Sarah. I will not accept you ignoring us." He snapped at her.

" You know, just because I have a crush on your son doesn't mean anything. I'm not going to start chasing after him like a crazy person. I realize he is going through something, and I have only been trying to help him through it. That is all." Sarah turned to look at them, tears coming back into her eyes. " I don't get what is so wrong in being there for him when he needs it most." Isaac showed up just in time. Before they could respond to her, he honked his car horn. " I'll be back later."

Running out to the car, Sarah got in and he took off. He took one look at her and saw the tears in her eyes. " What is going on, Sarah? I am seriously so confused right now. Why are my parents against you seeing Taylor?"

" Because I... well, my aunt... she told them that I have a crush on him, which is true. So now they think they have to protect him from me." She admitted.

He nodded, and sighed. " If it's worth anything, I think your great for him right now. You've been great to him, Sarah."

She rubbed at her tears with her sleeve and as he made a turn, she looked up to see there had recently been a car accident that involved two cars. One looked like Taylor's car. " Isaac, do... are you seeing what I..."

" Yeah." He pulled over and unbuckled himself. " Stay here, Sarah. I mean it. I'm going to check it out." He got out to see what was going on, and while she wanted to check it out herself, she stayed put.
