"N-Now come on guys, that's not f-fair. I-I can't kiss Mike without his c-consent, that's just wrong in so many ways," Lucifer was tripping over his words like a mad man trying to speak, incompetent to uphold eye contact with the angel of a man opposite him. "Just give me another dare," he managed to stagger out, looking down at his slacks to divert his line of thought. He just focused on the colour, the design, the pattern of the jeans to drive his mind away from the situation as best as possible. Gabriel immediately booed him for rejecting the dare, Sam elbowing him the side to shut him up. Gabriel wasn't exactly happy now that he had a pain in the side, literally. Castiel and Dean whispering amongst themselves, glimpsing at the red-faced boys. But then everything went silent. Lucifer's eyes looked up to meet Michael's, who was suggestively closer than before. Everything around them was unhurried, they didn't care though, they were both lost in each other's eyes.

"Close your eyes, Lucifer," Michael muttered, whilst everyone was quarrelling about pushing them too far into this. Lucifer nodded and trusted his closest friend, and closed his eyes.

Moments later, he felt something lenient and tender trace his lips. It was like silk, but had the indistinct taste of beer and mint. After getting familiar with the still object on his lips, it began to move against his lips, locking in sync like a piece to a jigsaw. Lucifer kept his eyes closed, afraid to open them to see what was beyond the shadowy wall that covered his eyes. He then felt a soft hand touch his cheek, and cup around it, bringing Lucifer closer. He relished every moment before it was drawn back, leaving Lucifer's lips unadorned. His eyes peered open, to see everyone gaping at them with stunned, wide eyes. Dean looked entirely thunderstruck, Sam was voiceless, Gabriel was having a hushed crisis in his head, Michael in a gratified daze and Castiel seemed to be questioning his own sexuality. Lucifer couldn't say anything, he was just as confused, shocked and baffled as everyone else, except for Michael of course.

"I think we should all head out for dinner, right?" Michael was the first to break the silence, not taking his love-struck eyes off of the attractive guy sitting opposite to him. Everyone seemed to get up at once, filing out of the cabin in their little groups but two did not talk or even walk together. Walking to the dinner felt like a non-ending journey, but they all made it with the awkward silence following. They all took their seats, after grabbing their food, and ate without speaking to one another. However, their silence was drowned out by the deafening sounds of screaming children and plates clattering together. They didn't leave all at once: Dean was the first to go back with Castiel following behind shortly, then Gabriel left with Michael. Which left Sam and Lucifer alone at the table. Sam couldn't help but glance up at Lucifer, who was using his fork to toss around a lonesome potato around his plate.

"Lucifer are you okay?" Sam uttered to him, Lucifer glimpsing up from his food stained plate.

"I don't know Sam; I just have a lot running through my head at the moment. Michael just kissed me, and the audience would be fangirling over it but it didn't feel right, it wasn't how I imagined it to be," He poured out his emotion, Sam tilting his head in misperception.

"The audience?" He couldn't help but ask.

"Oh it's just a theory I have. I believe that everyone has a story that is being read through someone else's eyes. Weird, I know," Lucifer managed to crack a small smile as Sam couldn't help but smile as well.

"It's not weird, but it's something I've never heard of before. Do you think we are being read right now?" He looked around inquisitively.

"I think so. But don't tell anyone this, I don't need more questions from people. C'mon, let's head back before Gabriel starts up one of his little tricks." And with that, they got up from their seats, disposing of their left-overs and made their way back to the passive and tranquil cabin.
