Tris' POV
I have gotten through my first week at Dauntless High and it is finally the weekend.
Today I'm going out with Christina and Will. You might think that I sound like the third wheel, but Christina and Will don't make me feel like that. We all three just have great fun together. Will is a senior and Christina is a junior like me and Caleb. Today Caleb is in his room reading. Trying to get even smarter than me I guess.
Today we are going to the Lake Michigan beach. Christina and Will are going to pick me up.
Suddenly my phone vibrates. Its Christina.
Christina- on our way
Me- gr8t! I'm ready to go!
I grab my beach towel and sunglasses and run downstairs.
"Don't run in the house." Mom says as I come down.
"Sorry I'm just exited about going to the beach."
"So, this Christina is in your grade?" My mom asks.
"Yes."
"Make sure to be safe today okay honey." She says to me.
"I will. I look around and notice that dad isn't around. "Where's dad?"
"He's at work."
"He works on the weekend?"
"Yes. His only day off is Sundays."
Suddenly I hear a loud honk coming from outside.
"That's my ride." I say and hug mom. I run out the door and see a black camaro sitting in the drive way.
The drivers side window rolls down and Christina is there with her sunglasses on.
"Get in!" She yells.
I get in the back because I know that wills sitting in the passenger seat, but what I wasn't expecting was to see Tobias also sitting in the back.
I shut the door and Christina takes off.
"What are you doing here?" I ask him.
"They invited me." He says and I suddenly notice that his shirtless with a full six pack. I refrain from staring.
"Why don't you have a shirt on?"
"Were going to the beach."
I turn away from him and lean towards the front.
"So, how'd your score a car like this, Christina?"
"I don't mean to brag, but since you asked, my parents are rich."
Then Will adds, "That's why I go out with her." Christina playfully hits him on the arm.
I laugh and sit back.

Soon we reach the beach and we all jump out. I take off my swimsuit cover up and soon we are all in the water splashing and having fun.
Tobias comes close to me and.splashes me right in the face. I scream.
"Oh heck no!" I try chasing him, but end up face planting into the water. I finally resurface and I see that he is back in the beach sustanning. I look over and see Christina and Will making out in the water so I decide to go sit next to Four on the beach to give them some privacy.
Soon I get to the beach and lay my beach towel down next to Fours.
"Hi." I say.
"Hey."
"I decided to give the love birds some privacy."
"Good idea."
"Yah. So what are you up to?"
"Just getting my tan on." I laugh.
"I'm going to get you back for splashing me in the face. I almost drowned you know."
He smiles. "No you didn't."
"How do you know? You ran to the beach so I couldn't get you back."
"Because you would be spitting up water right now if you had almost drowned."
"You do have a point."
"I know." He says, sitting up and looking over at me. I sit up to.
"So do you have any homework?" I ask.
"There has only been one week of school."
"So you don't."
"No."
"Do you think you could help me with my trigonometry because I missed the first two lessons because I was still trying to find me way around and I am so lost."
"Alright. I'll help you."
"Thanks." I say.
"I can come over tomorrow if you want?"
"Okay that sounds good."
Suddenly Christina and Will run up.
"Are you guys ready to go?" Christina asks.
I stand up. "Sure, but I call shotgun!"
Will laughs. "Whatever."

Soon were in the car and driving.
"You should come over." I tell Christina.
"Okay. How about we drop these two off and then go to your house?"
"Awesome."

Christina and I are sitting on my bed eating chips and watching catching fire.
"Jennifer is such a good actress. I wish I could be an actress." Christina says.
"I would love to be friends with a celebrity."
Then there's a knock at my door and Caleb walks in.
"What?" I ask.
"Mom was just wondering when Christina was going to leave. Its getting late."
"Its not a school night. Why does it matter?"
"She was just wondering."
"I'll go in a few minutes. The movies almost over."
"Okay." He says and walks out the door.
"Caleb likes you." I tell her.
"Oh gosh!" Christina says with her hands on her face and falls back on the bed. "I told him I have a boyfriend."
"Did he try and kiss you or something?"
"Don't tell Will, but he didn't try and kiss me. He did kiss me."
"WHAT!" I scream because this is news to me.
"Yah he kissed me and I told him that I have a boyfriend. I thought that would be the end of it. But he still likes me?"
"From what I can tell."
"Great." She says. "Well, I better go."
"See you Monday then."
