Chapter 20:Betrayal

Sasuke pov

Where was everyone? It's already been 20 minutes since the test began. Maybe those two ran into trouble, being the idiots they are. You need to check on Sakura! What if she's hurt? Stupid inner, I don't like Sakura! Um...yes you do! No I do not! She's with Naruto now. Sakura's genuinely happy, and I don't want to take that well-earned happiness away. Naruto pov

The fight has been on long enough, and I don't have enough energy to do anything because I don't have any fuel! I summon two clones and attack Kakashi head on. He's still reading that perverted book of his. He's not even taking us seriously!

Sakura pov

I take my fist and use some of my chakra to punch the ground. "Shanarooo!" I yell. Then I grab Naruto's hand, throw a smoke bomb, and flee. Right now, that's the only thing we can do. We need to find Sasuke.

Sasuke pov

BOOOOM!

I turn my head towards the disruption. That's definitely Sakura. A few seconds later I see smoke bombs go off. They're fleeing...Tch! They're weak! I bet I could take on Kakashi and win. He couldn't dodge an eraser!

I hear rustling behind me and I threw some shuriken. Someone deflects them. Slowly, someone comes out...Sakura? With Naruto? Holding hands? They saw what I was looking at and quickly detached hands. "Sasuke..we need to work together!" Sakura said. Just then, Naruto collapsed.

I looked away. "Sorry, I'm going to get the bells on my own," I spat coldly.

"Sasuke...Naruto-kun's hurt!"

"So what? People die everyday. It's just part of being human.."

"I don't know why you're acting like this! It's like, it's like you're the real monster! You're betraying one of your closest friends! Have you no shame?"

Sakura ran off, carrying Naruto bridal-style. Sakura.. All well. I have to get stronger. I need more power! I ran off to find Kakashi..

Kakashi pov

Seems like there's some tension between my brats.. This'll make the test even harder! Hehehe...
