It was just for a second
Hands brushed in the busy street
It was only for a moment
But in that moment the world lit up in colors.
The world was no longer made up of harsh grays and bleak blacks
There was color everywhere
The world was beautiful
And all too soon it was gone
They both scoured the city for hours
Unfortunately on opposite sides of town
They both thought that all was lost
Some people didn't get second chances
They could have moved on
But they both waited
Waited until another act of fate brought them together
Or rather shoved them together on another busy street.
