{Jack's POV}

           Hey, [Name]...

          I'm sorry.

Jack stood in front of the tree, holding a bouquet of fresh of [f/flowers]. A soft breeze blew past him, ruffling his chestnut hair a bit as he stared at the large stone and makeshift wooden cross at the head of the mound of freshly turned dirt. Exhaling softly, he removed his mask to reveal his face, a somber expression on his gray features. His empty eyes seemed more hollow than usual, devoid of emotion.

         I rushed too fast...

          I shouldn't have done that...

Let my emotions get the best of me...

Quietly he knelt by the small grave, setting down the flowers silently. A somber mood hung in the air as he knelt there, staring at the freshly turned dirt emotionlessly.

Sighing, he spoke, his voice soft.

"I'm sorry... I'm so, so sorry..."

"Tears" began to stream down his face and suddenly he was sobbing and crying, wiping his eyes furiously as he mourned. Why? Why did he do that? How could hurt hurt something so important, so essential to his existence? His house felt more empty now, incomplete...

            Because it was.

            Incomplete, that is.

Footsteps approached him from behind as he mourned, but he didn't look. "Jack?" a soft voice asked. "You okay?"

"I messed up," he whispered, sniffling and hiccuping. "I messed up... So, so bad..."

"Jack... It's not that big of a deal..." Suddenly he tensed and spun around, his hollow eyes flashing with rage.

"Not that big of a deal!?" he snarled, baring his teeth as small red lights appeared in his eyes. "NOT THAT BIG OF A DEAL!? I KILLED HER! I KILLED HER AND SHE'S GONE FOREVER! AND IT'S ALL MY FAULT!" His words echoed through the forest, and he resumed sobbing, big black pools appearing under him as his tears dripped down his cheeks.

"...Jack... It's just a freaking window."

"Shut up!" he snapped, sobbing, while [Name] just sighed and shook her head. Gently helping him to his feet, she took his hand and led him away.

"Come on, you crybaby... Let's go home..."

"It... it was such a good window..."
