"Aww, I didn't know Yael can be sweet din pala. He comes across as quite arrogant kasi at first, but I'm happy that you're happy now girl."
Selos. Selos ang nararamdaman ni Vice whilst discretely listening to Anne and K's conversation. Nasa may lounge sila, where all the hosts usually hangs out during commercial breaks. Vice was on his phone, scrolling through his twitter feed but all his attention was on Anne and K.
Kakasagot lang ni K kay Yael a few days ago after a few months of him courting her. He took her out on a date as a 'official couple'. Kahit na its been a whole year since they broke up, alam ni Vice na mahal nya parin si K even though he may not have her again. Seeing her happy, breaks him inside. Araw- araw hinihingil nya sana na sya na lang ulit. Sya na lang mahalin ni Karylle ulit.
"Hoy brad, ok ka lang?" Biglang gulat naman ni Vice nung tinapik sya ni Billy.
"Ha? Oo naman bakit?"
"Alam ko nakikinig ka sa kanila. Narinig mo kung ano ginawa ni Yael. Brad, naka move on na si K. Baka maybe it's time na you should move on narin.
"Hoy Bestie, wag ka nga ano dyan. Na ka move on na ko, noon pa. Yung tungkol kay Karylle and Yael, so what? Naka move on na sya, alangan naman ikulong ko sarili ko sa nakaraan,
Tumawa na lang si Billy, "Alam mo bestie, next time na mag sinungaling ka at least be a bit more convincing. Your eyes never lie!"
Hihirit pa sana si Vice but tinawag na sila ng staff to make their way to the stage because mag a-air na sila ulit.

"Welcome back, It's Showtime!"
As usual, Vice was standing next to her. Their usual blocking. Vhong, Anne, Vice, Karylleand Billy. Vice just stood there. Trying to look as if he was fine. Kahit it's been over a year since their break up, may awkwardness pa rin between the two.
Pag on-cam nag haharutan sila, nakikipag biruan but kapag offcam, it's a whole new story. Minimal conversation and as much as possible they try to stay away from each other. Dahil nga artista sila, they need to act as if everything is fine like nothing has happened. The last thing that Direk wants is yung maapektuhan yung trabaho nila because of their personal issues.

"Huy Vice, ikaw na! Tulala ka nanaman" Vhong said as Vice was too lost in his thoughts. Vice caught a glimpse of something from the audience.
It was an old couple. Roughly about in their 70s. Kahit na matanda na sila, they still look so inlove. Like even after through so many years, they still managed to stay in love. May hawak silang sign, 'It's our 50th anniversary today', it read.
May naalala si Vice from the past that he just couldn't take his eyes away from them.Yung promise nya kay Karylle that he will never leave her.
Flashback
"Happy 1st anniversary babe! Here..."
Binigyan ni Vice si Karylle na maliit na box. It had a weird shape so Karylle was pretty sure it wasn't a ring or anything.
"Babe, you shouldn't have. Sobra sobra na to. Every monthsary natin may regalo ka, this is too much!"
"Ano ba Kurba, syempre special to. It's our anniversary, kulang pa nga lahat ng yan e.Basta buksan mo na lang yan"
Karylle did what she was told to do. She opened the box and was left rather confused because of what was inside it.
"Susi? Para saan?
"Saan ba ginagamit ang susi? Diba pang bukas
"Oo nga. Pero para saan?"
"Para dito..." Vice pointed to the left side of his chest. Where the heart is placed. "Kasi binuksan mo ang puso ko na mag mahal ulit. Yieeee" He said, habang kinikilig sa sinabi.
" Yan ka nanaman sa mga banat mo Vice" Karylle couldn't help but kiligin din. That's what she loves about Vice. Yung mga cheesy pick up lines nya that makes her heart beat faster everytime.
"Pero seryoso. Eto, eto susi ng condo ko. Feeling ko its time to take our relationship to the next level. This key also represents a whole new chapter in our life. Our first year together was great but I'm sure as we enter the second year of our relationship, we will make many more memories together. Our relationship may not be perfect but is sure is one of the best. I love you Kurba, so much."
Karylle was left all teary eyed. Hindi nya ineexpect to from Vice. Everything he said made her love him even more.
"Kainis ka naman eh! Hindi mo naman sinabi na may pa ganitong pasabog ka pala. I didn't expect this at all!" She said whilst hugging him.
Vice pulled away from the hug and wiped the tears from Karylle's face. He kissed her forehead, then down to her nose and eventually her lips. It was just a quick one but the kiss was surely intimate. "Mahal na mahal kita Kurba, mawala lang lahat wag lang ikaw"

Habang nag lalakad sila sa park after their anniversary dinner, Karylle spotted an old couple sitting by the bench which looks like their celebrating their anniversary as well.
"Vice tignan mo sila oh.." Huminto sila sa pag lalakad and Karylle pointed out the old couple. " I love seeing old couples look so inlove. It makes me think na true love does last... Sa tingin mo magiging ganyan din tayo balang araw?"
"Sure na sure ako kahit puro kulubot na mukha natin, we will end up like that one day. I promise you Kurba, I will always love you. Ikaw lang wala ng iba. Hindi man ikaw nagging first love ko, but you will be my last. "
"Promise?"
"Promise. Hinding hindi ako gagawa na ikakasakit mo"
End of flashback
"Huy Vice, ikaw na! Tulala ka nanaman"
"Ah sorry sorry, pasensya na" Snapping out from his daydream, he said his spiels.

Pagkatapos ng Showtime, dumeretcho kaagad si Vice sa dressing room nya. Kitang kita ng mga kaibigan nya na hindi ok si Vice but they chose not to say anything.
As soon as they got all their stuff together, umalis na sila sa dressing room. Tahimik lang si Vice habang nag lalakad sa hallway ng abs cbn whilst Buern and Archie was trailing behind him nag bubulangan kung sino sakanila ang kakausap kay Vice.
When they go to the elevator, si Buern ang nag lakas ng loob para mag salita.
"Uhh Meme, ok ka lang?" He started. "Tara, sa Prive tayo para makapag loosen up ka naman."
Archie gave a 'What-was-that-all-about' look. Inirapan lang sya ni Buern.
"Kayo na lang. Wala ako sa mood, gusto ko lang umuwi at mag pahinga." That was all Vice said.
When they got to to the car park, Vice was about to enter his car when he saw something.
Karylle was walking out the door when someone holding a bouquet of flowers greeted her and kissed her on the cheek. The guy led Karylle to the car and opened the door for her then quickly ran to the otherside of the car to the driver's seat.
Bigla naman naalala ni Vice nung dati. Kung papaano din nya ginagawa yun. How we would always pick her up then drop her home. Those memories came rushing back again. Those memories that he will never get to have again.
He didn't even realised na umiiyak na pala sya when tears came trickling down his face.
"Huy Meme, tara na!" Buern called out.
Pumasok na sya sa kotse and they left.
