This was requested by @AussieMedic go follow them plz! The story was inspired from SU when I was watching the outro.

It was cease fire and you being the creative girl you are brought your keyboard with you. You decided to play one of your already known songs called love like you. After putting your keyboard on your bed and plugging it in, you sat on your bed facing the door.
Start song.
*long piano solo...*

"If I could, begin to be half of of what you think of me. I could do about anything. I could Even learn how to love... When I see, the way you end wondering when I'm coming back, I could do about anything. I could even learn how to love like you... (Love like you) I always thought a I might be bad. Now Im sure that it's true. 'Cuz I think your so good. And I'm nothing like you!"

Your song was cut short from you catching yourself crying tears just running down your face. You quickly try and wipe them away not wanting anyone to see you look so weak. But you weren't aware that you were too late. "Darlin, you ok?" Your face turns from a sad and depressing look to a 'oh shit!' Face in .001 second flat. "Y-yeah! I'm fine! I was just playing a really sad song and-"

you were cut off from feeling warm all of the sudden. You quickly notice engineer was hugging you. You blushed but it was covered up from your already red face from crying. You slowly hugged back. "How about we play a happier song instead?" You slowly nod your head sniffling.

"I'll be right back." He leaves your room and comes back with his guitar. He was smiling softly. His smile always had some sort of effect on you that you couldn't describe. Engineer starts his number one song, more gun while you add in the background sounds but with your piano.

After you two were done you guys laughed and chatted for a bit enjoying each other's company. "Hey darlin I was wondering if ya could.. Help me with somethin ahm buildin..?" "Uh sure engie what is it?" "It's a new contraption ave been working on. Follow me." Engineer gets up and walks to the door and you follow him.

Soon enough you two were at his workshop. You were impervious to what in the world you were building but you followed the blue-prints and used one of engineers wrenches. He was working on a sapped sentry and getting the fixed pieces in his tool box thingy. You finnaly finished your little contraption and stepped back looking at it. Two parts of it glowed (R/B) (depending on what team you are on) it was a robotic (blue jay/ Cardinal)! It spread its robotic wings and perched on your shoulder.

"Wow I didn't know I could actually do this right!" "You can keep em darlin. He's locked and loaded." "What do you mean by locked and loaded?" Suddenly engineer says one word, "angel!" The bird quickly formed into a 9mm pistol including a (R/B) laser for accuracy. It fell off of your shoulder and you quickly caught it.

"Wow! But why angel?" "It's based off of you, a beautiful angel." When he said that the bird reformed. You blushed at his comment. He chuckles at your flustered face. You decide to test it out and say angel and test how strong the gun is with a nearby target.

"Ha ha! Yes this is amazing! Angel." He turns back and decides to perch on engies hard hat. You giggle at how cute they are together. "Hey uh darlin...? I wanted to ask ya somethin." "Yeah?" "D-do you like me?"

You think for a moment. " in a friendly way? Or a love like way?" "Both ah guess..." Engi scratches the back of his neck. "Well I..uhm d-does wanting to b-be more then friends c-count as loving you? If so I... Love you..." You were completely Crimson at this point.

"I do too." You were so embarrassed. "W-what?" He walks over to you and puts his hands around your hips and pulls you into him and he leans in. You put your arms around his shoulders and closed the space in between you two. He broke the kiss after a few seconds which made you a little disappointed. "Ah love you (Y/N)" "I love you too engie"
