Chapter One

I woke up from the bright light in my room. I groaned as I saw Carmella holding the curtains open.

"Can you not?" I turned around and put my face in the pillow.

"You need to get up." She says.

I shake my head, "I'm fine with not."

She sighs, "Are you still upset about-"

I quickly cut her off, "Don't bring it up."

"Bayley, I know you're upset, but you need to move on."

I feel tears brew in my eyes, "Can I be alone?" I whisper.

"I'm-"

"Please." I whisper as a few tears begin streaming down my face.

"Okay okay."

She walks out of the room leaving me alone.

I feel empty and I don't know if that emptiness will go away.
