Chapter Ten

Loud banging on the door wakes me up.

"I'm coming!" I yell getting annoyed at all the banging.

After stretching, I walk over to the door and open it.

"Babe!"

He hugs me and I just stand there.

"I lost my key and couldn't get in."

"Hm." I hum and he walks in.

I study his face and notice lipstick stains basically all over his face.

He walks into the bathroom.

Break up with him now, a little voice in my head says.

I try to get myself confident enough to finally break it off with him.

My hands tremble and I take deep breaths.

I'm gonna do it.

I keep building my confidence while he showers.

He walks out of the bathroom and smiles at me.

I curse to myself as my confidence goes away.

He sits down next to me.

"How are you?" He asks.

I stay silent.

My heart is beating so hard, he can probably hear it.

"Bayley?"

I close my eyes. Once I open them, I see he's on his phone texting someone.

The name on top of his phone begins to get clear.

Dana.

Anger burns through my whole body and all doubts leave my mind.

"Aaron. We need to talk."
