It was a cold night, barren and not a single star shining in the night sky. The air was cold . Only the howls of wolves cut through the still air.
Landon had warned me not to leave the room, he made sure by locking me up. I looked out of the window. It was inky black and there were noises that belonged to neither humans nor beasts.

This was scary. I didn't know what was happening outside, but I could tell it wasn't good. I kept the lights off so that I don't attract attention.

The lack of light never bothered me before, But now I wanted it badly. I wanted to see the beautiful tress and the orange rays of the sun making the water sparkle.

Landon had not introduced me to anyone, no pack members nothing. It was as if he didn't want anyone to know about me.
I walk in to the bathroom and look at myself in the mirror, I have bags under my eyes and my skin looks slightly pale. Is it because I'm not up to his expectations. I'm not as beautiful as he expected. I'm weak compared to him.
He was weird. He hadn't said a single word about us having kids or anything. The the first thing males want from their mates and Landon was even reluctant to sleep with me. Maybe he though i would give him weak pups.

The thought was making my heart ache , I take off my clothes and stand under the shower. I take a cold shower , the water burning my skin.

After I'm done I change into his boxers and a shirt making sure I wear a bra.

I can't sleep, my eyes are watery and burning but I can't sleep, he hasn't returned and my body demands his
Presence.
I can tell it'll be morning soon because even though the Sun has not risen there are traces of its presence. I had slept a couple of times only to wake up in an empty bed.
I fall sleep and when I wake up its evening. How long have I been sleeping. The room is still empty, the Windows slightly parted and my hair a mess .
I try to open the door but it's locked.
I sit in the room for god knows how long when finally the door opens to reveal a angry Landon.

"Where were you"

"I'm back isn't that enough"

"What's wrong with you "

"Nothing" he says and walks in to the bathroom.

How can he talk to me like that after being out for almost 2 days.
The maid comes in with food and smiles at me but I'm to angry to reply it. I smile slightly and she leaves.
Landon come out with a towel around his waist and goes in to the dressing room without even sparing a glance at me.
He come out dressed and is about to leave the room when I stop him.

"Aren't you going to eat"

"You eat" and with that he leaves again.

How can he treat me like that. He's back to his old self again.

Im all alone in the room again. I cry a little and shower twice but still the time won't pass. I try to think about why he'd treat me like that . I cry again. I sleep a little , shower again and sit down on the bed.

If I stay in this room anymore I will defiantly go crazy.

The door opens and the same girl comes in,

"Alpha wants you in his office"

"Okay" I whisper.

She takes me in to the office and I go in without knocking.
I look at him and surprisingly he smiles.

"Come to me love"

I go to him and he pulls me in his lap, kissing my head .

"Have you eaten"

"Yes"

"Let's go to the library I know you like books"

"No" I say. Why is he like this. One moment he doesn't look at me and the next he acts like he's my lover or something.

"You don't want to go"he asks

"Not with you at least"I shout

He growls at me.

"I will not tolerate this behavior "

"Oh please stop with this" I say getting out of his embrace.

"What's is with you women"he gets up.

"With me, your the crazy one , one moment you ignore me and don't even spare a glance at me when I call you and the next you all lovey dovey"

He glared at me .

"I don't get you, you want me , then you don't. You treat me like I'm the only thing that matters and then you lock me up without taking to me for days. I'm sick of this " I shout losing my calm.

"You ungrateful women, I take care of you, give you food and fine clothes yet your never satisfied, all you women are the same "he barks at me.

"Oh stop with the exaggeration, I don't want your money and food, I want a normal mate and not some crazy King, who barely has time for me"

"Go to the room"

"No I'm sick of staying in the room day and night, I have no one to talk "

"Don't force me"

"And tell me why won't you let me meet your pack, is it because I'm not up to your expectations , am I too weak for you, not capable of having your pups" I shout.

I see some sort  of emotion on his face, I see regret but it vanishes in an instant.
He grabs my arm and drags me to down stairs  to the dungeons  locking me up yet again.

"You don't deserve a bed or food you ungrateful bitch"

My eyes go wide , did he just call me that.

"Go to hell" I yell at him

He doesn't  reply , just leaves me all alone in my misery.
