Chapter One - Two Dudes Hugging

Burger Pants POV:

Another day at work, sigh.
I stand at the register, like usual. And suddenly that one weirder looking monster comes back, they came here earlier. (Frisk)

The kid starts using sign-language, which I luckily understand.
'Do you know where the Nice-cream guy is?'

"Huh? You looking for the NiceCream Guy?" I respond.

The kid nods a 'yes', so I respond.

"I, Uh.. he'd probably be Near the Core, it's pretty popular there.. Be aware of him-
He keeps coming over here asking me things like "Hey, Burgy! Do you like my new joke for the next Nice Cream wrapper?"

"Joke? HOW CAN YOU CALL THAT A JOKE? He just drew two dudes hugging and wrote 'I love hugs!' On it."

The kid keeps their poker-face on, like usual.

"Anyway, uh.. I still say I like the jokes, 'cause, Y'know, I get free NiceCream afterward.." I say, noticing my rant.

"He uh, just talks too much." I say awkwardly

The kid nods and holds a thumbs-up, probably meaning 'thank you' and I give them a small smile in return. This kid is pretty weird, heh.

~Time Skip~

"C-Can I go now, Mettaton?.." I ask, Exhausted.

"Sure, Darling~ Great job today! You sold out all of the StarFait!~"

"Heh, yeah.."

"See you tomorrow, Darling!"

"Yep, Cya"

I walk out the door, and notice a smiling blue bunny. (NCG)

"Heya!" He calls out.

I look at him, tiredly, today has warn me out..

"What's wrong, Burgy, haven't you heard the news!?" He said, seeming excited over something.

"Nope, what?" I ask.

"The barrier is open!" He said, smiling.

"Wh-What? Really?" I ask, a bit shocked.

"Yeah, a human opened it!" He said, practically vibrating.

Wow.. we're.. Free..?
