Chapter Two~The Real Reason

Vikk's POV

"Taylor, you know, it's fine that I'm driving you-"

"Really? I don't have to pay you back? Are you sure?" Taylor asks.

"Yes of course, now did you say your house was to the left or the right?" I ask.

"It's the blue one to the left," Taylor says pointing.

I nod as I turn into the parking lot and Taylor prepares to get out of my car.

"I'll walk you up to your house-"

"Oh no, I don't think that Alicia's here-"

Taylor's POV

I look down at my phone to see Alicia text me;

A= Alicia

T= Taylor

T= Yo, what you wanna do for dinner? Tacos?

A= Oh, I'm at Simon's lol. Sorry I left...

T= Thanks, I can't get in now :(

A= My bad :( I'll make it up to you can Vikk help you or something?

T= Um, unlike you I don't trust people that easily so....

A= Just calm down, he's small and harmless

"Vikk, I have nowhere to go..." I bit my lip.

"It's fine, you can stay with me... By the way, where is Alicia anyways?"

"Uh, she's with Simon or something-"

"Oh..." He laughs, "Simon is a charmer isn't he."

"Or maybe it's because Alicia is easy to pick up," I smirk.

He laughs as I buckle back up and lean back into the seat and look at my phone.

T= Taylor

K= Kayleigh

K: How you doing, better?

T= Yeah, kinda

K= Good, by the way did I tell you about how cruel my ex was to me?

T= No and why?

K= Oh, just because...

T= Well how was he?

K= He hurt me badly. He cheated on me. If you ever see him at your favorite club you cannot trust him.

"So Vikk, it was interesting running into you and Simon," I awkwardly say.

"Heh, yeah, maybe all of us should hang out together sometime in London. It'd be really fun I promise," Vikk smiles.
