Chapter Four~Who's Hiding Under the Mask?

Vikk's POV

When me and Simon arrived at the masquerade party I looked up at Taylor.

Taylor's outfit:

She looked gorgeous.

Her dark hair just curled and her eyes shone like glitter.

I'm not saying I'm in love, but I am saying that she looks beautiful.

Just took my breath away.

Kayleigh's POV

"There they are... knew she couldn't stay away from my Vikk," I say angrily to Alex.

"And there's my Taylor with Vikk," he says pissed.

Simon's POV

"Wasn't Kay just there- oh my god..." I mutter seeing Alicia walk in.

My heart stopped.

Alicia's Outfit

"Wow... you look beautiful Alicia..." I murmur.

She smiles and blushes, "You look pretty good too, Mr. Minter."

"I swear... I have met a real angel," I say smiling.

"Thank you, I like your mask," She says smiling.

"Well I honestly was thinking of not going, until I heard my best friend was coming with," I smile at her.

"Oh best friends are we now?" She smirks at me.

"Well, I mean I guess," I laugh.

"You know what, I was thinking of going home after work and sleeping but nope," she laughs.

Seriously me too... I'm always tired.

Kayleigh's POV

"Alex, we need a new plan!" I say upset.

"I don't know, you're pretty and that boy will be all over you by the end of the night," Alex says.

Kayleigh's Outfit:

Taylor's POV

"Would you like to dance?" Vikk asks me.

I nod as we step to the floor as he held my hip and my hand and started to move around.

"Vikk... I've had the weirdest feeling that someone has been watching me," I say shuddering.

"Well Taylor... honestly... I've felt the same."

"It's almost as if Alex... my ex boyfriend has been trying to track me down or something sickly like that," I say.

"Well Taylor you don't need to be afraid anymore," he says pulling my chin up, "I promise."

As we leaned in to each other it hit me...

"Sorry Vikk... I just can't do this right now..." I say looking down.

"Hey, I know how hard it is to move on, but I know this is not what it's all about is it?" Vikk asks, "Look at me in the eye and tell me."

"I... I can't when I don't even know who's really hiding under the mask..." I say running off.

"No... please... Taylor!" He yelled for me.

I raced to the car got in and cried.

I can't have him...

Vikk's POV

Maybe I was too forward or something I'm not sure.

And Kay?
