"MELANIE!" A last voice shouted before I was out. Cold.

AND NOW...

*MAYBE SAD WARNING FOR THE WHOLE CHAPTER*

Melanie's door wasn't budging. Phil was kicking it as hard as he could. Fear was ridden throughout my body I felt useless trying to make her open the door.

"MELANIE OPEN UP!" I screamed knowing that it'd be pointless.

"Call an ambulance." Phil demanded shoving his phone into my hands.

I didn't even notice the tears running down my face until they dripped onto the phone.

"Dial the fücking ambulance you idiot!" Phil was crying too.

Trembling, I typed 999 into the phone. Everything was moving too quickly I felt sick. Every fibre in my body wanted to drain what was inside but I needed to stay strong. For Melanie.

"Ambulance." I spat into the phone not even giving the operator a turn to speak.

"Hello what is your problem?"

I couldn't breathe, the words wouldn't form. It felt like something was lodged in my throat making it unbearable to say anything.

"Hello?" The woman on the other side of the call asked.

Phil was screaming at me to answer her.

My hands were clammy, the whole world was spinning.

The words wouldn't come. I didn't want them to. If I said it, it'd be real. This nightmare wouldn't be real; I couldn't let it be. If I allowed it to be real then my world would end. Evilness would have overruled me. Melanie was alive.

"Fücking speak!" Phil shouted.

"Melanie- she's-"

"Sir? What happened?"

"She's trying to kill herself!" Phil snatched the phone from me, shouting down the line.

The woman talked to Phil who seemed more calm about it than I.

How could he let this happen? How could he allow it to be real?

Melanie was fine.

She told me...

But of course she wasn't. Her fakery and lies was what she fed off of. I didn't help her. I let her suffer alone. My moves were too late, there's nothing I could do about it.

Phil ended the call, exhaling.

"It's what had to be done. The ambulance are on their way." His arms wrapped around my neck as he let me sob into his shoulder.

This couldn't be real.

Melanie was behind a locked door, possibly dead all because of us. Because we fücking adopted her in the first place and allowed her into hell which was the our home. The Internet could be a cruel place and we threw her into it head first. We couldn't protect her from the hate of our fake fans.
