Chapter 26

I should've never went behind his back, and now because of me, he's dead. I mean I think he is, it's as if my eyes seen him die, but neither my heart or mind believed it.

But I'm hoping, just hoping that my heart and my mind are telling me the truth, and for once my eyes didn't show me the truth.

*Dean's pnt. of view*

Pain.

Pain, was all I felt running in my veins, like warriors running on the battlefield. My breathing was as heavy as the pouring rain outside the window, and my abnormal heart beat was as loud as the rolling thunder in the Heavens.

My body was limp as that of a rag doll, my muscles aching from being motionless, my eyelids glued by an invisible force, my head was pounding like a hammer on nails, and my back was stamped to a soft, yet warm surface.

Soon, voices started ringing in my ears, intensifying my headache in the process.

"Pass me the forceps" Said a male voice.
"Forceps." Repeated a female voice.
"Pass me the scissors." Once again commanded the man.
"Scissors." Repeated the female once again.

What's going on?

Mmh, I wanted to speak up, I really did, but my tongue felt as heavy as lead, my throat dry as the desert.

I felt paralyzed, I wanted to feel my body, I wanted to utilize my five senses, I wanted to speak, but I couldn't, all I could do was stay put on what I was laying down on, and wait for my body to revive.

"Deeeaan." Wait a second! That voice.
"Deeaan." I know that voice.
"I'm over here Dean, don't go, don't leave me Dean. I love you." Said her beautiful voice, but it was fading. Why is it fading?
"Dean, stay with me, I love you." I know that angelic voice. It's Jade.

"We're losing him!" Said the male voice again but this time  panicked.

Shhh, I wanted to scream, I couldn't hear Jade's voice over his yelling.

"Get me the defibrillator!" He commanded loudly.

Doggone it! He needs to shut up! I need to hear Jade.

"Done!" Said a new female voice.

"Deaan? Come on Dean. Don't leave me" Said Jade once again.

"Ready?... clear!" I suddenly felt an electric shock ripple through my entire being and straight to my heart, and I felt my body pulse off the soft surface my back was stamped to.

"Again... clear!" Then came a second one.

"Come on Dean. Come on Man!" Yelled the male one more time.

"Ready?... clear!" He yelled, and this time I felt my heart pulse once again, and soon, it was beating back at its normal pace, but then I tried to listen for her, for Jade, but she wasn't there.

I could feel myself slipping into darkness, and I knew I didn't have enough strength to battle with passing out, so I relentlessly allowed it to envelope me once again.

*Earlier that day*

I walked up to Jake's house ready to beat the little piece of shit to the pulp for my money, when I opened the door to the most surprising scene.

It's not that I have never seen blood or dead people before, but the way everything was placed was like a movie set, ready to be caught on camera.

Best of all it was caught on camera. I replayed the video from the beginning to the end, and it was the most dreadful thing to watch.
