once, there was a boy named oikawa. due to an illness, he was sent to a hospital for two months.
during his time there, he made a lot of friends. they all were there for each other, encouraging each other, telling each other to not lose hope — everything was bright and happy despite his sickness that worsened day by day.
iwaizumi hajime was his best friend there. hajime's illness was the worse among oikawa's friends, but he managed to smile and spend all his free time with oikawa. he gave oikawa hope.
"i didn't believe my illness would be cured when i was sent here, but now with my friends and you with me, i have hope," he said one day in iwaizumi's room, stroking the back of his hand. iwaizumi merely smiled weakly.
