*Serena's P.O.V*

"Ash.." I trail off. "Shh Serena." He murmurs putting a finger on my lips. This basically made me melt,"yes Ash?" I ask still melting. He pulls me close,"Serena.." He murmurs yet again his face centimeters from mine. I literally almost squealed. "I-I lo-"

BEEP BEEP BEEEEP

"I hate my alarm clock." I grumble.

"We'll get used to it, Serena," my mom says handing me my outfit,"Ash is waiting for you outside. Hurry up you don't have much time." She says heading back downstairs.

I get dressed really quick then headed downstairs for a quick breakfast consisting of a... Granola bar. Ash would be very disappointed in me. I thought to myself.

"Hey, Serena!" I hear a excited voice call out to me.

"Oh hey Ash!" I blush checking behind me making sure he wasn't talking to another girl named "Serena".

"Do anything interesting over the summer?" He asks shooting me a huge smile.

"Not much. Training as usual." I say looking ahead and at the bus stop.

Ash laughed,"fall again? You know I always love hearing your stories."

"Hey!" I shout at him slapping his hand.

"Well aren't you gonna ask me what I did over the summer?" He asked shooting me that smile that makes me want to melt like Hershey's Kisses when you leave them out in the sun for too long.

I roll my eyes,"Ash, what did you do over the summer?" I asked giggling.

"I got myself a girlfriend." He says proudly.

I laughed nervously,"no way! Who is it?" I resisted trying to rip the girl's neck open.

"Misty." He says not noticing my jealousy.

My eye twitched,"no way! The popular girl?" I asked.

"Yeah! I can't believe she likes me!" He says surprised.

"Neither can I." I say. And doesn't every girl like you? I think to myself.

"Well we're here at the bus stop." He says.

The bus pulled around the corner.

I can hear conversations going on as students pile the bus.

"C'mon Serena, move that butt of yours." Dawn says laughing at me.

I can feel tears forming in my eyes. I feel someone take my hand,"Serena let's go." Ash takes my hand and leads me into the bus and finding a empty seat for us. I hear gasps and shocked voices from Dawn and her crew,"she hangs out with Ash? No way!" I soon as I hear those words I start crying. Ash pats my head trying to calm me down.

I see Misty and she shoots me a mean glare and takes a seat in the back of the bus. Why do people hate me so much? I ask to myself still wiping away my tears.

"It's okay Serena. I care about you. You're not alone.." He murmurs to me.

"Thanks Ash." I say still upset from what happened earlier.

"No problem. Anything for you, Serena." He says giving me a warm smile.
