"Koushi..." I said as I looked at this cursed watch. My boyfriend, sugawara Koushi hummed and looked at his screen. We've been dating for almost a year now, and we've been happy. We planned to meet as soon as I moved back, since we lived pretty far. I live in the United states while he lives in japan. I'm only studying here, and plan to move back to my home the same date I'm supposed to meet my soulmate. "I'm gonna do it. I'm going to break this stupid watch. I'm confident well live a long happy life together." This caught the setters attention as he almost fell. I giggled at his reaction, then he spoke, "Ne, (y/n)-chan, are you sure? I love you, so I want your life to be filled with happiness. I don't want you to regret this. BUT I'M NOT saying I'm going to break up with you. Like I said, I love you." I giggled again before responding, "I love you too, suga, and I'm positive. Though I don't want you to feel obliged to anything, ok?" He nodded. I tore the watch off and went to grab a hammer. I came back and stared at the watch. 'I'm sorry, soulmate. Hopefully they won't think I've died and mourn my death.' I took a deep breath and forcefully drove the hammer into the watch

It felt... strangely good, but I also felt the guilt slowly crawl it's way through. I looked at the time that froze on the now broken watch and read it out loud. Koushi looked down at his watch casually and called for my attention "(y/n)... my watch... it stopped. Read the time again?" We had the same time on our watch, which we found funny, but assumed we didn't count since we skype, but as I read the time aloud again, nothing could've been so clear. "Its... you."
