Summer Sun Awards: Need-to-Know

Voting *READ AND ABIDE BY THE RULES*

You all didn't really think I'd just leave all of you who were just below the cutoff hanging, did you? Because really, I've thought on it, and it feels pretty terrible, this "scores based on book" strategy, at least for the books that lingered right beneath the tope 33%.

So, here's my compromise: The first few books that fell just under the 1/3 mark in every category (unless they've already placed in another category) are put here for voting by the public.

Rules:

1. Self-voting is allowed.

2. You may only vote once per book, but you may also have unlimited votes (as in as many books as you want).

3. This must be done on the app. You put an inline comment on whatever book's title, but all the comment is allowed to say is "+1", and maybe tagging the author so as to get word of voting around. If you'd like, tag a bunch of people, but NOT IN AN INLINE COMMENT.

4. NO REPLYING TO VOTES. This is meant to keep the numbers correct so we don't have to go in and tally up. We plan on being lazy and just looking at the number of comments on each line.

5. Lack of rule-following will result in the deletion of one or ALL of your votes. Tread carefully, readers, writers, and voters.

6. Deadline for Voting is (for right now) September 10, 2016, at 11:59 p.m. (23:59), Eastern Standard Time. Anything after that time will be deleted an not accepted.
