Georgie,

Remember that time in kindergarten when some kid pulled your hair and called it ugly? We chopped his hair off.

Your mousy brown hair was never ugly. You were never ugly.

As your brother, I had the duty of protecting you from unwanted attention. But, I never really got to fulfill it.

You fought your battles yourself. You were proud. You never took anyone's help.

You didn't need help.

You were strong and brave. You didn't need to be, but you were.

You were my rock. I was the only one who saw the vulnerable side of you.

How did we fall apart that easily? Was our bond not enough?

How did we let a couple of words come between us?
