Chuckling a bit, he nodded his head and smiled, "I will! You too."
Smiling painfully, (Name) took his hand and sniffed, "Do you really have to go..?"
Vernon gave a look of sympathy and nodded slowly. Though he didn't want his dear friend cry as she watched him leave her behind, there really was no way to sugar-coat the truth in a situation like this.
"Yeah..."
"Next plane for Korea will be departing soon," said the woman through the speakers, with her ever monotone voice that wouldn't change no matter what. For some reason, hearing no emotion in her voice made you feel even worse. Your best-friend was leaving!
"I have to go (Name)-"
"Um, Vernon," Cutting him off, you raised your voice, before bashfully looking down again for doing such a thing.
"Yeah?"
"I'll miss you.. a lot."
"I will too.."
"And Vernon...?"
"Yes, (Name)?"
"Don't forget me.."
"..Of course I won't."
