Sylvia let out a sigh.
"Very well then." She said moving out from her position at the small table.

"Yeah, I better go and get ready too. It is too early but who knows how long it will take to do my hair." I smirked.

"I see." Sylvia giggled.

"I hope we will be able to do this again. Thank you for the tea." I told Sylvia with a gentle smile.

"Oh I bet we will my dear sister." The young bluette sung.

I questioned why she used the name 'sister' but I decided not to argue against it and smiled.

We said our parting words and left our separate ways.

"Now to find Mira." I whispered to myself as I walked down the long corridor.

I navigated myself though the castle the best I could, in search for my temporary chambers.

After passing about a hundred paintings, over twenty hallway benches, and traveling up a few stair cases I made it to an area that was familiar to me.

I walked against the white and silver, pacing myself on the dark wooden floors, I finally made it to my bedroom door.

But before I entered the room, prepared to see my room laced in dresses with a kind young lady with long snowy hair standing in the middle of the mess, there was something on the handle preventing my entrance.

On the small silver handle fixed on my chamber door was a beautiful rose tied on with a simple blue ribbon.

I carefully untied the thin blue ribbon and held the delicate rose in my hand. The flower was pure white only about the size of my palm and yet it seemed. . . so much more elegant than any rose I've every seen.

Looking down at this delicate bloom resting in my hand, I happened to ponder on the thought of who might have given it to me.

It could have been Norman. . . wait. . . no. He would be seeing me later this evening so he would have given it to me then. Could it be. . . Nash? I wouldn't think so. He wouldn't do an act like this after what just happened.

But then who could it be?

I decided to drop the thought and worry about it later. I could come to no conclusion to where or who it was from.
I turned the small silver handle and entered the room.

Unlike what I predicted ,with the mess and all, I was wrong. The room was quiet, clean and seemed it be absent of people.

But not soon after my entrance, Mira emerged out of the closet with a dress in hand.

"Oh hello princess." She chirped with a gentle smile.

"Hello Mira." I answered with tired sigh.

"How was your morning ride?"

After she asked a flood of memories from my morning came over me in seconds, yet I could only say,
"Good."

"Well I'm glad." She chirped laying the dress down on the bed.

I went over to the bed to observe the dress more carefully.

"I've never seen this dress before." I said gently feeling the fabric with my free hand.

"Oh yes. . . well. . . you see. . .it's actually one of my dresses." She said from the closet door.

The dress was quiet pretty. It was a simple yet elegant light blue 'V' neck dress with a navy blue ribbon belt around the torso.

"It's beautiful, Mira." I marveled, looking down at this dress of hers.

"Why thank you, Miss Nashi." She replied with pink tinted cheeks. "Your dress is in here."

I followed my maid into the large closet to see a  the dress that was pick out for me.

In the middle of the closet stood a vintage burlap body manikin wearing a long dazzling red dress.

"Is this mine?" I asked, walking up to the satin covered figure.

"Yes it is. Your Mother chose it out for you."

I smiled at the thought of my Mother thinking of me and coming to help me picking out what to wear. She must know I'm not really the best at choosing what to wear.

I did walked a full circle around the dress, taking it all in.

"What's that Princess?" Mira questioned, pointing at my hand.

I looked down to see that she was pointing at. It was the hand occupied with the safety of my angelic rose.

"Oh um. . . I found it." I told her, holding the rose up for her to see.

"It's very lovely." She said moving closer to it to see it full beauty.

"It is." I commented, looking down at it with a gentle smile.

Mira smiled too and slowly brought her attention back to the fiery red dress.
"Are you ready to put it on?" She asked, beginning to remove the clothes from the manikin.

"Ready as I'll ever be." I replied with a playful wink before exiting the closet.

The ball awaits.
