Ghost

Your POV

"Hey (Y/N), do you believe in ghost?" Ciel asks me while looking down at my drawing book

"I've never seen one before" I replied trying to put more detail on the moon "Oh is that why we're going to the abandoned Ludlow Castle?"

"Yes, the men who are working on remodeling stop working because of a rumored ghost"

"I see" I looked up at him and showed him the drawing

"It looks nice (Y/N)" he said with a small smile

Ciel has been smiling lately but only for a quick second then he goes back to his normal self. I always get flustered when he smiles at me

"We're here"

I look outside to see some men working on it, but only a few. Sebastian then opens the door and helps us out

We walk inside and there was spiderwebs and dust everywhere.

While walking around we encountered two kids

"Are you guys lost?" I asked them

"No we live here" one of the boys says

I don't say a word and stare at then for a few seconds

"So ghost really do exist? How could this happen? I'm a reaper and I didn't even know they existed!"

"Pathetic" the same boy says

"E-eh" I was left speechless

"Hey! Don't be rude to her" Ciel tells him and continues to speak "But let's set aside her problems and talk about you living here"

"Y-yes that's why we came her for" I said "anyways what's your name?"

"My name is Edward and this is my younger brother Richard"

"Well hello, I'm (Y/N) and this is Ciel and his butler Sebastian, we came here to ask you two if you can please leave since we are trying to remodel this into a hotel?" I said as nicely as possible

"Mmm okay we will leave if you beat me at chess" Edward said and Ciel agreed to play

"But if you lose, we will stay here and you will have to give me your butler and maid"

"E-ehh! I'm not a maid!" I said to him

"Then what are you?"

"I-I'm his business partner" I said while pouting

"Well you will become my maid if he loses"

"W-what?"

"Deal" Ciel says

"Hey! I didn't agree to this"

They both ignored me and started to play, they agreed to a game with no cheating so I don't have to worry about Ciel losing

Randomly Edward transformed one of his pieces and won the game

"That's cheating!" I yelled at him

"Nope I didn't cheat"

"He right he didn't, Sebastian and (Y/N), a deal is a deal. You will have to go with Edward and Richard"

Richard ran to me and hugged me

"Its okay you will have fun here" he says

I turn to Ciel and give him a death stare "I'm going to get you back for this" I said while Richard takes my hand and leads me to my room

"So (Y/N), what do you like doing?"

"Mm well I draw a bit, its like a secret hobby. Mostly no one knows that I draw"

"Really! Can you draw me"

"Uh, yeah but tomorrow since its already late, I'll take you to your room"

"No its okay, I can go by myself"

"No I'm your maid now and I have to take care of you" I said

"But you're not"

"I know I'm not but a deal is a deal"

He nods and I walk him to his room and before I could leave Edward hands me some clothes

"Here, since you will be working here, you'll need to wear this" he says and walks away

Its a maid outfit. . . its cute!

The next day I woke up and told Sebastian what I should do

I went and cleaned the dinning room

"Good morning (Y/N), can I have some tea" I turn and see Ciel standing there

"Hey, I'm not your maid"

"I know but you are Richards and Edwards maid and right now I'm a guest"

I was walking towards him and twirling the cleaning cloth I was using

"H-hey (Y/N) what are you doing?" He asked nervously

Out of a sudden Sebastian comes and picks me up

"(Y/N) I think its now time to clean the kitchen" he says to me and Ciel sighs in relief

The whole day I was non stop cleaning while Ciel was looking around the castle to find out why they're still here

Finally after a while I go to the library, it was already late but I went inside to find a passage way

I heard voices and I followed them and it was Ciel and Sebastian talking to Richard and Edward, I walked and stood next to Edward

"You have a grudge against the person who murdered you and your brother that's why you can't leave the castle" Ciel says

I was just hearing them until Ciel says he is going to solve the mystery of the murder

A few hours passed and it was already midnight Ciel explained to them who was the murder and that they can finally pass to the afterworld

All of us walk outside to the river where there was a boat waiting for them

"Edward. . . I will leave the castle as it is with no new renovations" Ciel says and Edward thanks him

"Richard you know that drawing you wanted me to draw" I opened my drawing book and showed him the drawing of him

"I was able to finish it while Ciel was working on the mystery"

"(Y-y/N) I want you to keep it and if you can, please remember us" he says

I nod and smiled at him until they were out of sight, and we then walked back to the castle

"You know Ciel, i found out being a maid isn't easy."

"Is that right?"

"Yes and I'm going to get you back for making me work as a one" i said and I gave him a menacing smile

"Well I don't know if this will help but you look nice in a maid outfit" he says and my smile turns into a frown
