You Think You Know (1)
You think you know someone knows someone
Waiting in line just to get your fun
I'm at the bottom of your list, but the tip of your tongue
Forgot the name but remembered someone
You think you know someone
Knows someone
Well, you took your finger
And pointed it at me like a gun
And with all the bullshit and with all the tests
How the hell did I come off as the pest?
So pedestrians double cross me like I am a street
Kissing, kissing, all their feet
Coarse soles slowly fading
Your sole, my soul, rubbing off on nothing
But still receding, into the cold, dark deep
My Words in Your Mouth (2)
My words are trapped in your mouth
Trapped in your head, you can't say it out loud
So stop writing poems about your sadness
They don't think about you they think about their own shit
We all got things to deal with, we all have a life
All the strangers you saw are either living or died
And the easiest way to sound profound
Is to bleed at the paper, is to act like a clown
And with these obvious statements said in a rhyme
People think I'm a genius all the damn time
But I know that my words were trapped in your mouth
You don't think about me you don't think throughout
The outliers and the stupid sayings
And all the people are saving
Up for a new car but they don't have anywhere to go
To escape themselves, to escape their souls
So let your soul fade away
Rub your shoes on the concrete
Barefoot bipolar boys cross the street
They don't think about you
They double cross me
Eyes Like The Sahara (3)
Heart like a desert
Eyes like Sahara
Apply to me your Antarctica
And my heart has slowly dried up
Water me like a potted plant
Trapped in plastic, trapped in romance (stupid)
Because I don't understand what I think
I can't process my emotions because they go so quickly
