she scrunched up her nose at his endearment, purely for his benefit, tried to hide how her breath hitched and heart skipped a beat.
"so i am being kidnapped?"
"and taken to your dream beach location? oh the horror!" he smirked.
she smiles despite herself.
"thankyou" she muttered.
"sorry what?"
she hit his arm.
"jesus woman. such violence."
"eyes on the road yeah?"
"it would be easier if you stopped the physical assault" he grumbled.
she hit him again.
and smiled till her cheeks ached.
