Chapter 8

About 2 and a half hour has passed since V got hurt.

I mumbled,"Do you think they're going to come looking for us?"

He snickered,"It's already like 6 pm....I doubt it."

I scowled myself.

He made a face and said arrogantly,"I told you to go and find the others but you wouldn't."

I glared at him,"Well, If I left what if you get eaten by a tiger or something?"

"Sure. But you wouldn't care anyway so why bother," he rolled his eyes.

After that, I stayed silent and shut my mouth.

I opened my mouth and muttered,"Well yeah I hate you, A LOT in fact, but I wouldn't want someone dead.."

He rolled his eyes dramatically.

It was late and still, no one came looking. I sighed loudly.

"I guess we're just gonna have to spend the out out here and get eaten by wolves or something." He said sarcastically.

"Please." I rolled my eyes.

Soon later I found myself drifting off into deep sleep.

I don't know how long I've been sleeping, but I woke up when I heard shouting.

I opened my eyes and saw that V was sleeping too.

I tapped him,"Hey, wake up."

He yawned and rubbed his eyes,"what?"

"Did you hear that?" I pointed out.

He looked tired,"No, you're hearing things, let me go back to sleep."

I slapped his shoulder.HARD.

He jerked up,"Oh my god!!! Why are you so annoying?!"

"I heard shouting!!!" I said.

The shouting came nearer.

"They came looking for us!!" I smiled.

I opened my mouth and screamed,"We're over here!!!!!!!!'

Soon the teacher can into view. She ran over to us.

"Oh my gosh!!! Are you two okay? What happened?" She quickly help V up onto his feet.

I nodded towards V,"He twisted his ankle."

He made a face at me.

"Let's get back and treat it first and then I want you two to explain the incident,"She glared at us.

We went back to the group. Everyone looked at us with curious eyes.

Including Naeun. She looked angry like she was gonna bite me.

I silently walked into a tent with the teacher and V. She treated his ankle and told us to both sit down.

She frowned,"You two should've known better than to wander off."

"But Sem, we didn't wander off. We knew where we were and-" I mumbled.

"Then why didn't you come back?" She glared at us.

I looked at V for help but he just looked away.

"I-I couldn't just leave my partner sitting out there in the wild with a sprained ankle....."I sputtered.

She sighed loudly."Just be more careful next time. You can leave now."

We stood up and V started limping outside.
