Who is your dueling rival: Jesse AndersonStory Start;
Mallory’s P.O.V
“Let’s wrap this up. Go crystal mammoth, attack” Jesse said. Jesse’s crystal mammoth stomped it’s feet and then charged towards me. Once it was in front of me it picked up his leg and stomped on me. I flinched when Jesse’s mammoth’s illusion foot passed through me, dropping my life points to zero.
“Man this sucks” I whined. The flied cleared. Jesse chuckled.
“Oh come on, Mallory, you didn’t do too badly” Jesse said in his southern accent.
God I love that accent, I thought. I looked over at Jesse who was talking towards me and frowned. “I didn’t exactly do too great either” I said. Jesse put his hand on the top of my head.
“Oh come on now don’t be in such a bad mood” Jesse said, smiling. I couldn’t help but smile back at him.
“Hey guys come outside and check this out” Syrus yelled. Jesse and I looked at each other questionably. I shrugged my shoulders. I didn’t know what Syrus was talking about. Jesse and I turned around and started to follow Syrus outside. Once outside I couldn’t help but smile and laugh. It was dark out, the clouds were gray. It was freezing cold and the wind that blew didn’t help, but what I couldn’t stop smiling about is the white flakes that started falling down, slowly. It looked like a picture perfect image.
“I’ve never seen snow before” Jesse said. I looked over at him with a weird look.
“You’ve got to be kidding me, right?” I asked. Jesse looked at me and scratched the back of his head.
“No actually I’m not. I lived down in the south remember? It’s always hot there. The weather never gets cold enough for snow. So in all honesty this is the first time I’ve ever seen snow” Jesse said. I could tell that he was embarrassed.
“It’s okay. Nothing to be embarrassed about” I said. Jesse looked at me and smiled. “I can’t wait until the grounds covered with snow” I said, looking up at the falling flakes happily. Jesse chuckled.
“And why’s that?” He asked. I gave him a sideways glace, smiling.
“Because then we can have snow ball fights” I said. Jesse frowned.
“What’s a snowball fight?” He asked. I stared at him in shock.
“You’ve got to be kidding me, right?” I asked again. Jesse laughed.
“Again, no I’m actually not kidding you” Jesse said. I sighed.
“A snowball fight is where you pick up snow off the ground, shape it into a ball, and throw it at other people” I explained.
