Story Start;
Daphne’s P.O.V
“So what time are we going to the beach and meeting up with everyone again?” I asked Alexis. Alexis looked up from her homework and at me.
“I think Jaden said something about 4:00p.m.” Alexis said. I looked over at the clock.
“Well it’s almost 3:30 now. I guess we should be getting ready then” I said. Alexis sighed.
“Yeah I guess you’re right. I just wish I got my homework done before we went” Alexis said. I laughed a little.
“Yeah I know what you mean. But I would rather be having fun then doing homework” I said. Alexis laughed.
“Yeah I’m with you on that one” Alexis said. I finished gathering all of my things, put them on in my book bag, and followed Alexis upstairs. Her dorm was next to mine.
“I’ll see you in about 10 minutes” I said as I opened my door.
“Okay. I’ll meet you downstairs” Alexis said. I closed my door, went to my bathroom and got ready.
Jesse’s P.O.V
“So are you going to tell her?” Jaden asked me as we both finished getting ready for the beach. I sighed. Ruby came up to me and nudged my leg. I bent down and petted her.
“I don’t know. I want to, but what if she doesn’t like me back?” Jesse asked. Jaden shrugged.
“You have to at least try. And plus I think she does” Jaden said. I smiled a little. I guess he’s right; I do need to at least try.
“Hey, are you guys about ready?” Syrus called from the other side of the door.
“Yeah, give us a minute” I called back. I finished putting my towel and some suntan lotion in my bag.
“Don’t worry too much about it, Jesse. You’ll do fine. And if she doesn’t like you back I’m sure there’s someone else out there for you” Jaden said. I gave Jaden a slight smile.
“Yeah, I guess you’re right” I said. But the thing is there’s no one else out there for me because she’s the only one that I want. I sighed. Ruby jumped up on my shoulder and nudged my face. I looked at her and smiled. “I’ll be fine, Ruby” I said, reassuring her. I gathered my bag and followed Jaden out of the door.
