Promises
The rain is pouring out my window pane
How I wish rain wouldn't stop from falling
Just like my eyes
That never stops from crying.
You should be here by my side
But something came up
You are now
In someone else hands.
You dump me
And leave me hanging
You left me dumbfounded
And never say something.
What's with her?
Am I not good enough?
Am I not good enough for you to stay?
You promised me that you'll stay.
Why did you have to leave me?
Why did you hurt me?
You promised me that you'll protect me.
You promised me that you'll never ever hurt me.
You broke your promises
And my heart.
You promised me that we will be forever.
You promised me to fulfill all your promises.
But now you're gone.
Now I am here
Remembering all the happy memories we have.
All the promises we've made.
Maybe it's true
That promises are really meant to be broken.
