The next morning, Jessica was awoken by Yuri who was sitting by her bedside.
"Sica.." called Yuri gently
"Sica.."

"Yuri..?" said Jessica as she slowly sat up on her bed but was stopped by Yuri
"No Sica"
"Dont, just lay back in bed" smiled Yuri
"Why are.. you here..?" asked Jessica
"Why shouldnt i be here?"
"Did you forget that whenever you're sick, i'll be here for you?" winked Yuri
"I thought.."
"Thought?"
"Ah.. nevermind.."
"Sica-ah, get well soon okay?"
"And we'll return back to Singapore as soon as you're well to go"
"Dont like you to stay here with your parents"
"They doesnt pay much attention to you" said Yuri
"What about.. YoonA..?" asked Jessica
"Why are you so concerned about YoonA?"
"I.. err.."
"Anyway, i think i wont get back with her Sica.."
"Im afraid history will repeat itself again"
"Plus, im doing well even without her" smiled Yuri
"jinjja?!" coughed Jessica
"Hey slow down" said Yuri as she patted Jessica's back
"You're still sick"
"Why are you so happy when i said i wont get back with her?" asked Yuri puzzled
"Remember.. i've got something.. to tell you..?"
"If you decided.. not to get.. back with her..?"
"I think you did said something like that before"
"Well.. do you want.. to hear it.. now..?" asked Jessica, mustering up her courage
"If you wanna tell, of course im willing to hear it"
"Unless you wanna tell me when you feel better"
"I dont like to see you sick, Sica"
"No.. i think i'll just tell.. you now.."
"I dont.. want to drag.. it.."
"Yul.." said Jessica seriously as she sat up from her bed
"I know.. you're.. hurt by YoonA.."
"But.. i just wanna let.. you know.."
"That im still here.. waiting for.. you.."
"I hope.. to get your acceptance.. one day.."
"You what?!"
"Am i hearing things Sica?!"
"No.."
"Listen Yul.. i really love you.."
"For a very long time.."
"Why didnt you tell me then..?"
"I was afraid.. that you would reject me.."
"And our friendship.. would just.. disappear into.. thin air.." said Jessica slowly
"What about now?"
"Dont you think its gonna ruin it now?"

"I lost you once.. to YoonA.."
"I dont want.. to experience.. it again.."
"I know by telling.. you all these.. the consequences of it.."
"Are harsh.. but i want to let you know.. im always here for you Yul.."

"Sica.." started Yuri
"I know.."
"I know you wont accept.. me now.."
"But i just.. want to let.. you know.."
"There's still me.." said Jessica as she averted Yuri's gaze.
"Sica, look at me" said Yuri as she cupped her hands onto Jessica's face

"You're burning Sica.."
"Anyway, look we'll still be best of friend okay?"
"I'll always remember you're here for me"
"I'll tell you when im ready"
"Because as for now, im not ready yet"
"I love you, but i dont know the love i have for you is it just best friend or more than that"
"You understand Sica?"
"I dont want to hurt you"
"Okay.." replied Jessica a little bit disappointed even though it was expected
But at least, Jessica managed to confess to Yuri instead of bottling her feelings up.
"Now rest okay?"
"I'll go get Tiffany unnie to look at you"
"You're burning up so badly" said Yuri worriedly as she went out of the room&returned with Tiffany behind her.
"Unnie, why is Sica burning up so badly?"
"I thought you had given her medicine or something already?" asked Yuri as she pointed to Jessica
"I've given"
"But you know her health is weak, she has to take much longer time to recover"
"But she's burning up so badly"
"What if she burnt her precious smart brain?" asked Yuri
"But i've already given her the strongest medicine that she's not allergic to" said Tiffany
"Unless she allows me to give her a jab"
"No please.."
"I dont need it.." said Jessica almost immediately upon hearing it.
"See?"
"I cant help it" shrugged Tiffany helplessly
"Sica-ah.."
"You cant be like this" said Yuri sadly
"Its okay Yul"
"I'll be fine soon.."
"When do you wanna.. return back.. to Singapore..?" asked Jessica, trying to change the subject.
"As soon as you're well"
"We'll ask that danshin to return back with us okay?"
"So let Tiffany unnie give you the jab so that you can recover faster" said Yuri
"Ani.."
"No need.."
"Why not we'll go back today..?" asked Jessica suddenly which shocked both Yuri&Tiffany
"TODAY?!" exclaimed the two in unison
"You're not even in the state of moving" said Yuri
"Precisely" agreed Tiffany with crossed arms
"Maybe i'll.. recover.. faster in Singapore.." replied Jessica
"I mean.. you know.."
"No one cares.. about me here.." said Jessica sadly
"Awww~"
"Come on" hugged Yuri
"Dont be.. you still have me here right?"
"Thats right"
"You still have us here Jessi" smiled Tiffany
"So just lie back&rest first"
"We'll stay here with you if you want" offered Tiffany
"Unnie.."
"Does Taeyeon know..?"
"Know what?"
"You're sick?"
"Of course!"
"But did you.. tell her my family background..?"
"Dont tell.."
"I didnt"

"Its not something you should be ashamed of"
"She's not ashamed"
"She just doesnt want to show it off" said Yuri, trying to keep Jessica from speaking as little as possible since she's speaking slowly, gasping for air.

"I wont let her know" winked Tiffany, showing Jessica an 'Okay' handsign
"Gomawo unnie.."
"No problem"
"Rest well okay?"
"We'll be here for you"
"Just a call&we'll be here" said Tiffany as she exited Jessica's room with Yuri.
