How did you discover Wattpad?

I saw someone mentioning it on an online forum, and decided to check it out. Then I decided to upload a story, and another, and another, and I eventually fell in love with Wattpad.

Favorite real life authors who are not on Wattpad?

I love a good book, and my current favourite authors are Suzanne Collins, Sara Shepard, and Rick Riordan.

When and how did you start writing stories?

I started writing stories around June of last year, and I just let my creative juices flow.

Do you base your characters off of real life people? If so, how and why?

In some cases, yes, but most of the time I just come up with a character myself.

What are your current projects?

Right now I’m working on Underestimating Rue, a Hunger Games fan fiction. It’s all from Rue’s point of view, and includes an interesting plot twist. Also, I’m working on a poetry collection called Inspirations, which includes an array of poems and other ideas.

In any of your stories, which one of your characters is your favorite?

I happen to have taken a liking to Lauren Vonello, the main character in my book I’ve Got A Crush On You. She’s one of the few characters which I’ve based off someone in real life (in this case, myself).

Favorite book on Wattpad?

I’d have to say The Kissing Booth by Reekles. It’s the first Wattpad book I read, and it’s amazing! It’s also in the Watty Awards 2011 so make sure to vote!

Favorite type of stories you like to write?

I mostly stick to the romance genre; it’s easy and relatable ☺

Favorite story you've written?

I’ve Got A Crush On You, because it was the first story I completed.

Who inspires you in writing?

My best friend TJRaine started writing, and she’s basically been my main inspiration. Her stories are so well-written! Also, Suzanne Collins inspires me for writing her amazing books, and also I like her writing style.

When you write, do you listen to music to get ideas or inspiration?

Sometimes I do because it clams me down and really gets me in a creative mood.

Do you have any methods you use to write?

Mostly typing on Microsoft Word because it’s easy and convenient.

Where do you think of ideas for your stories?

I actually log on to weheartit.com and search through recently uploaded images for inspiration.

Do you prefer reading or writing and why?

I’d say reading because I love to delve into a world of fiction and fantasy.

Describe three words about yourself.

Unique, creative, and curious. I love to paint, draw, read, and write because they are ways to express my creativity. I’m really out-there, and spontaneous, so my curious and unique style shine through.

Do you want to be an author when you're older?

Actually, yes. I practice writing by typing up 500-word stories each day.

Do you have a motto? If so, what is it?

Live, laugh, love. Don’t live with regrets, instead, live in the moment, love without worries, and laugh freely.

Lastly, do you have any advice for other writers?

Never give up! Even if you’re under the pressure to become the most popular or best writer, remember that as long as you like what you write, it doesn’t matter what others think.
