How did you discover Wattpad?

How did I discover Wattpad. Let me think...I joined like about two years ago and now I can't really remember how I discovered Wattpad. Though, knowing myself as a chic who reckons Google is her BFF, I probably googled it up.

How did you come up with your username?

This is another question which I don’t know how to answer. I can barely remember how I came up with the username. But I think it was because I put two words "Sweet" and "Funk" together. I then added "xX" at the front and back cause I just thought it might be cool. Sweet and Funk can mean many different things, depending on who you are talking to and which dictionary you are using. But for me, I had definite "sweet" as wicked, cool, awesome. "Funk" to me had meant weird, insane and strange in a complementary and unique way. 

When and how did you start writing?

I started writing story when I was in grade 3, I think, but that was because it was require at school. As for when did I right my first story by myself, then it must have been two years ago, a couple of months after I joined Wattpad. My First story was title as “Living With Vampires Without Knowing it” which I later titled “His Revolution”. At that time I was heavily obsess with vampires that I felt the need to write something about vampires. Though, I must admit, it’s not my best work.

Do you base your characters off of real life people? If so, how and why?

I’ve never based my character off of real life people as I’m uncertain as to whether people might be offended if I write them in a certain way. Though, I have tried including characteristic of a real person into some of my characters.

What are your current projects?

My current story which I’m working on at the moment is Fool Me AGAIN. I decided to write this as I had an ambition to publish it when I’m done. This is why I’m going all my way to look for editors, people to read them and even critiques as harsh and realistic as possible.

In any of your stories, which one of your characters is your favorite?

Often, I like my main characters who I write about but overall my favourite characters in my stories on Wattpad has got to be Charlotte from Stuck With Him “AGAIN” She’s often stubborn when it comes to Daniel Millar. She’s unwilling to listen to anything good about Daniel as he broke her heart all those years ago. She’s also a caring person who cares for her two young children and her childlike, sweet best friend, Susan Millar. 

Do you have a motto? If so, what is it?

I’ve got no motto. Sorry, the answer is going to be cut short here. L

Who is your favorite Wattpad author?

I can’t remember the authors but I loved the story “Forever Dead “, “Nothing to Lose”, “After School with Mr Obnoxious”…. I could keep listing but we’ll both be bored by the end of it.

What's your inspiration of your stories?

Often, I would just see one of two things and then I can see a picture of how I want my story to turn out in the beginning .Often I don’t see the plot and ending so I have to imagine more things and think it further through to get my story plan.

Do you have a role model you look up to? (Celebrities, family members, friends, teachers, etc..."

Definitely! For me my role model isn’t my parents, sibling or a celebrity. My role model is my Ee which is also the same thing as my aunt. She’s my role model as I find her a successful woman who I want to be like in the future. I also look at my personality and interest and often find them similar to hers.

Do you prefer reading or writing?

I prefer reading as I don’t have to think too hard. Yeah, lazy me but what can I say...  Not only that, I love to read about what other people have come up with and often famous and publish books are turned into movies. I like seeing how the actors/actresses have portrayed the characters of the book. Often, the movie is worse than the book so I particularly enjoy criticise the movie.

Don’t get me wrong though, I still love writing but I’m still learning English so I often find it difficult to get what I want out into words. There still so much further I can go with writing.

Describe three words about yourself.

HYPER! AWESOME! CREATIVE! Omg, I’m totally kidding. Sure, I’m energetic which therefore makes me hyper. You’ll find that one minute I’m normal and the next minute I’m dancing and talking way too fast for you to understand.  Yeah, I’m totally awesome but don’t ever piss me off or you’ll see just how unawesome I am.  I consider myself totally creative. I know right, what am amazing red blob…totally creative.

Do you have a favorite undiscovered story on Wattpad? If so, what is it and do you believe it deserves WAY more votes and views than it has now?

I’m ashamed to admit this but I only go looking for story on the What’s Hot list. Though, I must say, a lot of the story on the What’s Hot list are pretty crap. They’re so cliché and full of errors, but there are some on the What’s Hot list that are totally amazing. Btw, since I’m so ashamed of not reading any undiscovered stories, people should go ahead and suggest some to me.

Do you have any really close friends on Wattpad?

Nah, I’m the only one on Wattpad. Most of my friends don’t like reading and I prefer to keep my stories away from my friends and family.  Though, my sister does have a Wattpad account. She gave up reading my stories when I started writing more about romance and such. She’s more into the action and blood type, plus she like manga and anime more than reading now.

How do you come up with story ideas/plot?

Like I had said earlier, I come up with my stories when I see thing. For whatever reason, I would see an image of object or scene or even tile and I would immediately see a story scene. Interesting or not doesn’t really matter cause in the end they always get altered. That’s just how my story ideas start.

If you could add one thing to Wattpad, what would it be?

I like Wattpad the way it is. However, I do wish they kept the previous motto of “Read what you like and share what you write” I think it’s more interesting to have that as a motto as oppose to “Unlimited Stories”.

Your stories' ratings? (PG-13, R, X, G...)

All my stories I’ve written are usually PG-13 but I’ve written a short story which is G. I rather not write anything R as I still consider myself too young to be writing anything like that. As for G, I rather not read those stuff as I often find their theme more childlike than anything. Even movies, I hate watching G. They just bore me to death.

Random question: Favorite and worst subject at school?

My favourite subjects are Web Creation and Mathematics. My worst subject is PE. Yeah, I’m often really shy so I don’t cheer for my team…report mark goes down, I’m really shy so I don’t move much and I’m too afraid to hurt people...report mark goes down. See, that’s why I suck at PE. Even if I suck at PE, I do basketball and karate. Basketball and karate are the two sport that I’m not afraid to hurt people cause I know my team will forgive me. *grin* Lol, who knew I could write that much for my favourite and worst subject.

Do you see yourself as an author when you're older or sometime in the future?

I kind of see myself as an author in a future. However, if I do become an author, I wouldn’t want it as a permanent job as I’ve got my mind set on another occupation.

Do you have any shout outs you would like to say to your fans out there?

To my fans out there, I’m glad you guys fanned and all but I do wish you guys will be more interactive. Like talk to me or something, people. I’m a talkative person so talk people talk.

Lastly, do you have any advice for other writers?

Advice, Omg. This is what I suck at. *Cry*. Okay, let see. Just write what you want…let it all out. I think that’s all I’ve got.
