Lucy's POV  

I walked under the tape following Sherlock into the building. We walked up the stairs all the way 

to the third floor. The body was lying there in the middle of the room face down on the floor. If 

I need to be honest here I already knew everything about the body but I wanted to test Sherlock 

to see if he could get everything I did from this body. He walked in and took some gloves from 

Anderson and circled the body. He looks at her and then at me and I try not to let my cheeks get 

hot. He paces around her naming off all the correct deductions. I smile. Suddenly he's yelling 

something at me. 

"Where's her suitcase Ms. Smith!!!! Hello are you listening??????" Sherlock yelled. I looked 

at him and blinked. 

"Her suitcase was never recovered. She- " 

"My God is EVERYONE here so stupid!!!" Sherlock stormed out of the room mumbling something 

about a mistake. 

"Wait wait what was the mistake?" John said. Leaning over the stairs.

"PINK!!!!!" Sherlock strolled out of the door of the crime scene and hailed a cabbie.

"Come along John we've got a case to find." He said 

"I'm sorry he's always like that. He's very arrogant. He doesn't mean to offend you if he did." 

"Thank you Mr. Watson. Take care of your leg for me." 

"How did you-" 

"You're limping Mr. Watson. And the way that you commonly will stare into space your obviously

shell shocked and have PTSD. I went through all of the possibilities and you're obviously too 

strong to be assaulted and you don't think quickly enough too be able too become a scientist. 

So you were obviously in the army. Now I ask you. Vietnam or Afghanistan?" 

"Afghanistan... And thanks for the compliment I guess. But Sherlock told me the exact same 

thing the first time I met him." 

"John lets go. Case to find remember???" Sherlock called from inside the car. 

"I'll see you very soon Mr. Watson." 

"I'm sure you will." 

"Until then. Mr. Watson. " 

"Well goodbye then." 

"Goodbye." 

John turned around and got into the cab. 

"She's not interested." 

"What do you mean?" 

"It's obvious that you like her. But as I said she's not interested."

"But you are. I can tell." 

"That's ridiculous." 

"It's not." 

"I don't get those kinds of feelings." 

"Maybe not to most people but you do for her."
